Oh boy....I installed my JDL UEL header to go with my perrin CBE and well, I hate it! It sound like this: [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUqcHW3APgA"]Scion FRS JDL UEL Headers Exhaust Sound! - YouTube[/ame]
but its soooooo loud in person. No 30+ year old person can drive around town with this thing. I'll never be able to drive any g/f's in this thing either. |
Yeah that's going to be loud when you WOT!
Uncatted header? Resonated CBE? |

I'll take your word that it is loud in person but sounds pretty good in the video.

sounds really good, but i can see how it might drone at higher RPMs, hope you find a good balance, but now i'm looking at a JDL UEL header....

I guess the real question is; how necessary is a header with a sc setup? There's no massive torque valley that needs filling, and the hks header was tested with minimal gains. I have a feeling we're going to see in the near future how effective the nameless header works in tandem with the jrsc. Sent from my LG-P769 using Tapatalk |
LOL I'm 34 and love how loud she is!!!

You're old... Jkjk I'm 33 and I like loud, but don't like the po-po attention it brings. There are some bored cops in So Cal, so they love just writing fix-it tickets... |

Yeah I upshift like a mofo when I see cops lol. |

:bellyroll: Me too! I don't think I creep past 3K RPM's.. lol |
I was not able to go past 244 hp until I gutted out the stock headers. I gained additional 20 hp consistently after it with tuned. So headers definitely helped
