BBK And Wheel Fitment On MY17s
I've been doing some research on which BBK and wheels would be my personal "perfect balance" of performance/aesthetics.
I've come to a conclusion that I'm going with Enkei 17"x9" +45 wheels inside Firestone/Michelin/TOYO tires (whichever has better treadware and road stickiness) and the Essex AP Racing Sprint Kit. I've yet to find confirmation on seamless integrations for both of these units on MY17s. Has anyone been able to confirm fitment for these as these guys are advertising 2013-2016 fitted on websites? |
It is my understanding that the 17x9 +45 enkei RPF1 will not fit over the AP Racing sprint kit.

It depends which Enkei wheels you want. RPF1s won't have enough clearance but several other designs like the PF01 or the RSM9s will have plenty.

However I'm digging into finding the weight of each RAYS wheel. They're Cast-Made, but claims are lightweight designed. Looking for numbers as we speak. |
Are you doing it for looks, or do you plan to actually use it? If so, then you may want to go to +40 to 35 offset to account for alignment. If you're a parking lot hero, then just grab an incorrect caliper from another car and start parking.

If you're getting 17x9 RPF1's, get the +35's, not the +45's. +45's rub on some 100% stock cars, and give you zero room to add any camber without camber plates and/or coilovers.
I wouldn't go any higher than +40 with 9" wheels. |
