"Tink" Noise when turning right
Hi!
I have getting this weird issue lately. I have a "tink" noise when turning right, and when turning left it does it only sometimes. Also, when turning the steering wheel at low speeds, I hear "clunks" every half turn, sounds like a damaged top hat (I have camber plates). The noise is only when the suspension is "warmed up" after a few minutes of driving. The weird thing is that I had this noise a couple of weeks ago and it disappeared after a day or two (I talked to my mechanic and when he had time I drove to him and it was gone.) Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=valaKDcirgA Sorry for the bad video a friend filmed it :/ Didn't have a better one. Suspension setup: Cusco Sport S coilovers Cusco Strut Tower Powerflex control arm bushings with camber & caster adjustment Hardrace Balljoints & Tie rod ends (extended) RacerX Front End Links |
So I have a couple things to look at:
Check wheel clearance Check top hats Check wheel bearings Check steering rack It is definitely a rotational noise. Check rotating components. |
Solved.
Wheel bearing was fucked. |
On a side note what side skirts do you have fitted please??
