Doors won’t lock

The touch of the door lock doesn't work, neither does locking it using the buttons on the key fob but it does make and sound when pressing button with the key and the headlights and twilights blink

I was thinking about disabling the locks on my car and just having this angry little gopher that won't attack me but would knaw down to the bone anyone else who tries to rummage through my change in the center console.

Unhook the battery for a few minutes and see if t resets things.

I tried that and it didn’t work

Do the locks open and close normally when you use the key or the buttons in the car? If not then you may have a problem with the harness or a grounded wire, but I don't know. If it is just with the fob then try replacing the battery in the key fob.

Doesn’t work with anything. What ground should I check?

Neither side works electronically using the door card buttons? You can manually lock the doors, but nothing electronically is working on either side, right? Check the fuse. If it is only one side then maybe the harness wiggled loose. Do you have the ability to roll up and down the windows and does the speakers in the doors work (feel and listen carefully)?

What were you doing to the car just prior to the problem occurring? Work your way backwards..

Everything else works on both doors aside from the locks

Remove the door card. Make sure the wire/ball is secured into the lock. Check the electrical harness that it is plugged in.

You say that there is a noise when you push the Button. From inside the doors? Both doors? If it is both doors then probably not in the door. If the sound is in the doors then it is trying to work but probably low voltage.
