I really need to up my livery game

This one, I just searched decals for flowers, hearts, and the character's name. Then just take some time placing the decals where I wanted them. The thing that took the longest was putting "KAOTIC LAZAGNA" on the rear spoiler. That probably took 3x as long as putting everything else on. I spent more time on my other liveries in GT Sport, like this one: http://s3.amazonaws.com/gt7sp-prod/l...2589480_23.jpg |

Gonna tell you guys right now that I suck at liveries. If I have the time to play the game I'd rather be driving (not that I don't respect what others prefer). I'll get something together:party0030:
Sorry I'll be missing the first race :mad0260: |
I love designing liveries I just want to finish the Café menu books first before I get too obsessed with art [emoji439] to concentrate on racing. I might try to come up with something though soonish..

Also am I blind or GT7 don't have self race. Like You just drive around certain tracks to practice &/or tune your setup. Only place I've found is online & co-play. |

Also you can't search in Japanese characters for livery I just tried.

There's an Arcade Mode on almost every track, kind of like quick race, where you can still earn credits. Im not sure if it allows zero AI competitors, but I know it allows basically no PP limit so you can bring whatever you want and race it against the AI. When I did testing for the Fully built RX-7, I raced on highest difficulty, against a wide arrange of cars on the track; Classic Mustang, a Slingshot, Miuria, DeLorean, 93 Miata. |
Is there a particular track you all will race on? So I can practice or I`ll spend more time crash and burning.

What about Deep Forest for the next one? That or Tsukuba or Laguna Seca gets my vote.
As for the Japanese characters, I'm guessing it's cuz I'm in the US? I see Japanese players using characters for their tags. I always assumed that time trials lets you use any car in your garage, but I've actually never tried. |

Cheers for the replies. My Livery work is dead set Crap. So I found something, I like, and managed better race numbers this time
|
That looks like it required way more work than my simple itasha liveries. Kudos.
|
I upped my livery game slightly... this is just a practice run though. "I got something for you.." Also yeah Deep Forest is another classic I'm down for that.

I got a GT3 997 ‘09 as a reward so I just went with that. Put racing pads, intermediates, some ECU tuning and weight reduction. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yeah, I went back and used that same 911 after using the Taycan. I found it to be a handful, and found these adjustments best for my driving style. Only full suspension, tranny, and carbon brakes installed. Tires are slicks and intermediate, and I adjust the auto adjustment for the top speed according to the track.

Got my hands on a FC RX-7 yesterday and I gotta say, is probably one of the best handling cars out there. Took it to Spa on no modifications and finished 3rd on Arcade mode at Expert difficulty.
One weird thing is that it has a ringing noise around the 8K RPM, I wonder if its a buzzer telling you to shift up. But other than that, it takes the turns like there's no tomorrow. |

Take it to Spa and enjoy. Its an absolute blast. |

I dread getting to Porsche. If I've learned anything from racing games it's that I suck driving high powered rear engine cars and can never own one. |
The worst is the downhill parts because the back will slide out even if you're not in the gas. I just got 2nd in the Nurburing German Schwartzland Cup. (Same as what you guys are on now just dry and much more bullying AI). I took a GT3, put racing slicks on it and nerfed the HP to like 73% lol. Worked out pretty well. Other than crashing the first 4x pretty quickly it only took 2 more long runs after that to get it. In the straights I could barely keep up but in the turns I was twice as fast.

The Ferrari one, though. :paddle: |

That'll be bad too. Haven't driven much Porsche (or Ferrari) yet in 7. But I still have PTSD from driving the '81 911 Turbo (don't remember what "tuning" was done) on the Nordschleife in GT Sport...it took so much concentration for me to even get a single clean lap. :mad0259: |

Did the Manufacturers Cup last night, around the 'Ring.
Qualified 3rd out of 15 (not too shabby if I do say so). On the first lap I tapped P2 on the second turn (left hand hairpin). Was accidental but I got by him. He got next to me 6 turns later and I gave him space. Still side by side on T7 and I kept giving him space (though I could have declined to). He pushed me into the sand runoff on the left and I dropped to 7th :mad0260::mad0260::mad0260: Despite a few unforced errors for rest of the race I got back as high as 3rd but ended up 5th. Still a lot of fun  |
