Delicious Tuning - Unique Custom Mapping Notes:

1. Use of stock direct injectors and port injectors on E85 up to ~300 whp or 11 pounds of boost.
2. Remove all signs of shift knock or throttle blip knock for boosted vehicles
3. Add switchable boost maps through the cruise control (including boost cut)
4. Added FlexFuel into all the above maps, including switchable boost maps
5. Boost/Fuel/Timing/Cams control up to 15 PSI

These are just some of the features we use in a lot of our maps for reliability, keeping your costs down (stock injectors) and keeping knock at bay and your advance multiplier happy.

If you are interested in the latest revision as you do not have it, please reach out through our contact page.

Cheers,
William Knose

Im curious if a method of knock alert is available.

My dsm rom gave me the ability to use the factory boost gauge in the cluster for scale, and the check engine light would illuminate if more than 3 knock sum was present. If the CEL were already active for an unrelated code, it would then flash.

As we dont have any spare useless gauges, perhaps a flashing CEL or another dash light could illuminate when safe knock count has been exceded.

Dear Bill,
I've been following and reading your threads quietly. One quick question, have you tune an 86 with SARD equal length header? Thanks.

Currently there is no easy Knock alert available but will speak with EcuTeK to see if that is something we can add into the Custom Maps with EcuTeK RaceROM. I think that might be nice to have for tuning.

These headers are sold by Micro Image located up in Northern LA. Though you can find their website through my dealer section on my website.

I would bet this is similar to the PPE setup. Do you have any pictures of it, lengths, internal diameters?

Also are they long tube?

PPE headers, that sounds interesting. ;)

Do your turbo tunes include any type of over boost protection?
