i would look into NJMP for track days too. It has a lot more run off room and more first timer friendly

Also been researching track days at Pocono Raceway, roadcourses of course, no triangle for BRZ. I do have my own "track" persay on the back roads but obviously this is not the safest option.

There is a new Premium BRZ available for sale at W & L Subaru in Northumberland, PA (central PA).

I think it might be the one I was allocated back in June but backed out of since I found another one in Harrisburg.

WR Blue / Manual Transmission
MSRP or less I would assume

well the Rabbit and the FRS are very different cars and would be classed totaly different. I had an 84 GTI many years ago and know just how fun that car was. If you can afford it, run both cars

the rabbit and the frs are going to very different classes....
the rabbit is 6 inches wider than factory and looks like a jungle gym inside.
i built it to be a track day car and have yet to actually use it.

I saw white AE86 by Pagoda in Reading the other day. I gave the guy thumbs up but he was confused as hell lol

JAG 01-09-2013 12:57 PM

There was a dark blue BRZ parked in the lot in front of the One Tower Bridge building in West Conshohocken for a few hours this morning. Anyone here?? I kept an eye on it from my office window in Five Tower Bridge. Mine was parked in the garage below ground.

BRaZinDave 01-11-2013 03:53 PM

1/10/13 saw a red FRS near Williamsport and a Silver BRZ in Bloomsburg. 2 In 1 day!

make it a hill climb car. I might put a cage in my FRS eventually and run it in hill climbs...but I had better pay it off first because one can have a really bad day running a hill climb but Damm is looks fun. :happy0180:

Gearhd79 01-13-2013 08:45 AM

sbxjap 01-14-2013 11:15 AM

saw my first WRB BRZ on the road... kinda. Sunday night around 10PM

I was picking my wife up from work at Phila Intl Airport. It was a limited model parked in front of C Terminal. Pretty sure it was WRB...

Was too far out with cars behind, so I did a loop... stopped next to it and honked. Me and the driver gave each other the thumbs up, lol...

Zadkiel 01-16-2013 09:04 PM

Saw a DGM or "Asphalt" FR-S pull into a Turkey Hill today in Palmyra/Campbelltown/Hershey area. I was driving my wife's Versa in the funeral procession you held up so you could turn left in the middle of it around 12 p.m.

Also saw a Turquoise painted FR-S with plastidipped badges in a garage nearby on that route.

I'll be doing the North course on an HPDE if you want to come along with some of us.
Even with the super speedway section the FT86 can put a hurtin' on the more powerful cars.
We get good group rates on hotel rooms if you want to do a weekend.

Between race weekends with the BMW team and our development FRS, we will be at NJMP a lot... But...
If anyone wants to hit my favorite track for the FT86, I'll be organizing a group to head down to Summit Point. Man, I love that complex!

Shagaliscious 01-17-2013 04:55 PM

I think I spotted a red FR-S or BRZ going north on 202 around 3:45 today. I was about 1/2 mile behind you, and there was too much traffic to catch up. But I am pretty sure it was one of the twins. I even went up an extra exit then I normally do to see if I could get a better look, haha.

My wife works at Phila Intl Airport and saw two FRS in their employee parking lot. A Hot Lava and either black or grey one.... Was dark and she drove by it too fast to notice.

She said one was a female driver.

Laika 01-24-2013 12:53 PM

Saw a white frs in the new Britain area near Warminster the other day. Looked like a young lady driving.

Of the 5-6 86's I've seen, only one person acknowledged me in mine lol

enigmaaron 01-25-2013 10:45 AM

Saw a red one this morning, just before 9am on rt 30 bypass heading west in Exton. Only caught a glimpse as I was heading the opposite direction.

BRZerk 02-07-2013 08:29 PM

i spotted a GBS on golden mile highway (286) in the Murrysville area when I was OMW to work in the morning on Monday. Pretty sure it was a premium. I was coming down New Texas Road and turning right at the Burger King and they Drove past me headed south. I tried to honk but they didn't even notice.

sbxjap 02-09-2013 07:37 PM

Near Chinatown today... My sister saw white FRS. Wife saw WRB BRZ on way to work at airport... Probably same guy I've seen recently.

skyre 02-11-2013 10:36 AM

Saw an FRS with Toybaru plates at Ardmore Dealership as I was leaving.

sbxjap 02-11-2013 06:12 PM

Local mechanic I know just picked up a red FRS at auction. From the pics, looks like a flood car. Can see the stain line ... Maybe 2 or 3 inches of water was in there.

It's at their shop according to his Facebook page. Surprised he didn't call my shop yet to brag, lol.
