Silver Ignition vs. Argento
Could we see some pics of these two colors together?

I'll bump this up as I'm also curious to see the two side by side.

This isn't argento, but I took a picture next to a white BRZ and a generic silver colored car just to show some contrast.

Not the best pic but you can see the Argento in the back.

Great! Looks darker with that lighting.

Found a silver BRZ so I pulled up next to it and snapped a few pictures. I'd have gotten closer but I didn't want an angry owner coming out of a store waving his/her arms and yelling at me or something. :P This doesn't catch it well enough, I should have flipped my phone camera to daylight maybe. But you can see a more blue tinge to the Silver Ignition. This is bright Arizona sun, I think the color differentiates more as it gets darker. It moves closer to a concrete/grey color then. Funny story, I had a white FR-S lease prior to the 10 series and two of my friends didn't even notice I'd changed cars as they walked by it in full daylight. I pointed it out to them and they were surprised, it does get really light colored in the full sun.

I'm contemplating on getting a 10 Series over a regular FR-S because of all the goodies... BUT that color. Every pic I see, it reminds me of baby blue :mad0259:.
I really need to find one in person. |

I wouldn't call it baby blue at all, it's only seen that way when next to silver. Yeah it's hard to describe. |

Not Argento... but Toyota silver... http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b2...ps60144446.jpg http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b2...ps44c51aab.jpg Baby blue!! http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b29/Luis_GT/020.jpg |
So it IS baby blue then?!
Seriously though, baby blue looks alright when stock to me. But cosmetic mods on it look weird to me. I'm one for the clean and aggressive look and it just wouldn't look right on baby blue. I don't think I've ever seen it done. I'll still probably end up with a 10 Series anyway though, assuming they're still around. |

It's more of a metal color than a soft color like blue. Cue the Blue Steel jokes from Zoolander. :D I like it best at lower light when it takes on more of a concrete/grey look. It's pretty close to this:
