Here's a link that anyone who is having problems viewing manuals for the BRZ (or other Japanese cars) should explore http://jdmfsm.info/Auto/

right?! |
Hmmm running it on Win 7 with Daemon 5 Lite, I was able to mount it and all but the explorer webpage is all in Japanese and when I click OK it gives me an error pop up window in Japanese. Anyone else get this? :(

Click the dropdown on the top right for "Repair Manuals" > "Engine Mechanical", "Manual Transmission". Or Click the dropdown in the top left, "Select a Major Components Selection" to find what area you want to look at. |
Does anyone know if there is a more updated version of this disc?

They've made quite a few tweaks to things in three years. Would be nice to have an updated disc....say 2016 version... *hint hint* |

Does anyone have the updated service manuals? I have a '17 and would really feel secure having it.
I did try using the jdmfsm link, but I'm afraid it's only online and can go down anytime. Also, it'll be nice to have it offline on the drive. Thanks! -TL |

Here is a reupload of the original 2013 BRZ Service Manual DVD ISO (Internet Explorer GUI version), courtesy of this thread's OP, Trap63:
https://mega.nz/#!i7Y31K4Z!mPJCL09t_...o_ZAfyXyQi8aKY Mirror: http://www.mediafire.com/file/qa62f3..._2013.zip/file (This Zip file is simply the extracted ISO file, recompressed as Zip) For Windows: Download and extract the zip file, open the "G4400GE" folder within, right click the "index.html" file, and open in Internet Explorer. Click "Allow Blocked Content" if prompted. (If you want to circumvent using IE, follow the Mac instructions below) For Mac/Linux (not tested by me): 1. Search for and install the "IE Tab" browser extension for Firefox or Chrome 2. Download and extract the BRZ Service Manual zip file 3. Open the G4400GE folder, and locate the "index.html" file within. This is the file you will need to load in the browser, so find a way to copy the FULL directory, in a way that it ends in the file name "index.html". For example, it should look something like: \something\something\Desktop\Subaru BRZ Service Manual\G4400GE\index.html 4. Go back to your browser and load the IE Tab extension, then paste your unique file directory into the IE tab. If the download links ever go down, PM me and I'll put up new ones. |
