This really had me number crunching. Thinking a FA25DIT could be around 250hp. A FA25Turbo like 385hp. We can dream right? 2020 isnt that far away..

I'd like to see an FA22 to pay homage to the old school 22B. that would be pretty neat

Nice video - seems like they put a lot of effort and care into that build. Wish they would have posted before/after dyno charts though.

I would think a 22 would be more viable and reliable then a 25 but hey thats just me.

The 200 to 243hp bump in power seems a bit low considering all the other work they did.

But that'd be why it'd be interesting to see the dyno, I'd assume they made significantly more torque everywhere so it'd probably feel much faster than the 43hp bump suggests.

But why is the 2 litre greater than this 2.4?

Sure but even at "only" 243 we're looking at 121hp/litre. I am guessing there would be some reliability headroom in there.

Well if it's displacing 2.4L, its really only 101hp/liter

Whoops, my poor maths coming in there. I will admonish myself something bad in private.

Captain Snooze 01-17-2017 09:18 PM

I have sent MonsterSport Jp an email regarding availability. I will let you know what they say.

I imagine if they do become available they will cost more than Aud$150.
