Valenti 4th Brake Light Issue
So I was rewiring the light to separate the V and the brake triangle, I did this successfully before on my car. So I was helping a buddy with his and made a dumb mistake, I attached the left black wire to the screw to the left of the node and we then tested the light and that’s when I discovered the incorrect placement. I since corrected the mistake but we are still not getting any power to the V or triangle...did I fry the board from sending power incorrectly? I circled the area in question in the picture https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...2ad0f3ae24.png

Are you receiving 12v, but the light doesn't turn on? Or do you not have 12v power being supplied at all? A multimeter is your best friend here, both for checking for power and checking fuses.
If you have no 12v, then as @soundman98 said check fuses. I would also suggest bench testing the light off the car first with a 12v power source/inverter. If there is 12v, then there's likely a problem with the board or connections. |
