I still can't decide between these or the Spyders. I know I want the Valenti reverse lights, but not sure about the tail lights. A lot of people have issues with some LED's in these not working, and I'm not sure what the brightness in daylight is like compared to the Spyder's. Really wish there was a direct comparison for daylight brightness and quality issues.

pansontw 11-10-2013 11:47 PM

We do stand behind all the products we sold.
So no worry on defects on what's so ever.

For brightness, both Valenti and Spyder are at similar level.

If you are getting the reverse lamp, then there is no meaning comparing the brightness level.

Because the blinking of the reverse will definitely get others' attention.

Let me know

Sincerely,
Panson

For the reverse light, how is it coming wired up now? Is it going to light up the "V line" only and the triangle comes on with brake, and white led's for reverse? Or is the V line and the triangle lit up at all times? Is there a way to stop the reverse light blinking?

pansontw 11-11-2013 01:46 AM

Blink 5 times is optional w/ a separate wire. If you don't like this blink-5-times thing, just leave the wire unattached.

Below is the functionality of the reverse lamp

Since USDM 86/BRZ doesn't come w/ rear fog, we will usually attach the fog function to position lamp.

So what will be exact functionality of the reverse light if I leave the blink wire unattached?
Is there a way to have only the bar on, and Zone 1 will only light up with the brakes, but no blink? And Zone 2 with only reverse?

pansontw 11-11-2013 06:09 PM

It is doable. But you need to open up the reverse and do some cut & soldering.

Sincerely
Panson

Here is the DIY quoted from an Australian 86forum.

You said Zone 1 and the bar are lit up at all times by default right, and Zone 1 blinks 5 times when you press the brake?
What happens if I leave the blink wire unattached? Zone 1 will still be lit up at all times so nothing will change when I press the brakes?

pansontw 11-12-2013 02:44 AM

Yes, by default, Zone 1 and V bar will lit up all the time. (A wire)
Blink 5 times (optional B wire)

If you leave the blink wire (B wire) unattached, zone 1 and V bar will still lit up at the same time.

Custom wiring is required if you want to make make zone 1 function independently while braking. (need to open up the lamp, find and splice the A wire, then attach the zone 1 part of the wire to braking wire)

I think below is what you want!

Yes that video is exactly what I want. I'm not an electrician and I have no idea how to splice and cut wires though. :(

pansontw 11-12-2013 02:28 PM

It is doable if you follow the DIY quoted from Australia forum.

If you are not comfortable doing the splicing and soldering, you might need to find a good tech to help you w/ that.

Sincerely,
Panson
