Nameless 2.5" catted/resonated overpipe + Driveshaft Shop aluminum driveshaft

Greetings,

I just wanted to inform those of you who might be considering this combo, that it does not work. I have the Nameless overpipe and tried to install the driveshaft, but sadly it would not clear. Had to send it back and pay a 20% restocking fee.

I'm curious to see how/why it would not clear. I have the same driveshaft and I run a 2.75" overpipe/frontpipe combo and have plenty of room to clear it.

It would not clear because of where the Helmholtz resonator is positioned. I was told it could be cut and relocated elsewhere, but didn't want to modify the overpipe.

Why would you attach that to your exhaust?! :bellyroll:

In all seriousness though, that is good to know. Thanks!

In order to answer this question, I will have to use a Level 2-3 strike of Ego Judo on you. It might tingle if you want it :). In all seriousness though, this 86 platform, it's owners and the information on this forum has helped me a great deal during my build. Almost all my Google searches lead me here, so I decided to join and contribute.
