Valve spring recall
 

Owners of 2013 models can expect a letter from Toyota by the end of December. Only certain 2013 VIN numbers are affected. I am a service manager for a Toyota dealership.
25,300 cars are affected. March 12- July 13 cars.

And here I was eagerly checking my mail every morning since the start of December.. I guess I'll be doing it the whole month!

So you are saying, not all cars produced from March 2012 to July 2013 are affected. I bought my Fr-s June 10, 2012, I hope I'm not affected. I've driven less than 70,000 miles and still running strong! All I can do now is to wait and see if I get a recall letter.

The way I read the bulletin is that just those cars are affected.

I think you will find that you are getting all this flak because you are very, very, very, late to the party with this info. There are already at least 4 threads on the subject with a couple going into great depth on the info.
