HKS Boxer Spec UEL Exhaust Manifold

For those looking for the "boxer rumble" HKS has released another exhaust manifold but this time it's a UEL design for those looking for that distinctive rumble.

Personally, I'd rather go with an equal length setup but for those looking for that rumble there's another option on the market and for that I would give it a

I'd guess that because it was marketed for the "boxer spec" theme, which is a typically known as a Subaru thing, that's the reason why the 86 wasn't mentioned? Either way it should work for both.

I know we're excited for it... Won't be State side for a bit though. :(

The vehicles are mechanically identical, it will work for both brands.

pretty expensive kit for us in aus. $2.2k for the kit + shipping + tax will probably be $3k to your door. I'll be keen for this if it was around $2.5k to my door.

Ditch the programmer and I guess it's going to be way less

damn that sounded AMAZING!

mswhong 09-22-2013 11:46 PM

that merge collector looks amazing..

FR-S Matt 09-23-2013 06:29 AM

Way too expensive. Only downside compared to what else is offered out there. You can get one hand built in the US and thermal coated for half that price tag, maybe even more than half. Sounds really good though. I like the other video of the deep sounding one with the UEL.

Freeman 09-23-2013 12:53 PM

Damn that second video, I can't decide if I want an EL or UEL header.

sent from my locker... help!
