Did not know the car had an ecutek tune so the tablet wont read my ecu, therefore I can not use this and it is now for sale for your purchasing pleasure for the price of $475.00 shipped stateside, $495usd to Canada. Brand new, hooked up once, discovered ecu has custom tune. Ive had it for 24hrs, purchased new from Ft86speedfactory.com.

highly likely "unknown" tune is ecutek tune, if so you have an ecutek licience embedded in your ecu.

If you have an ecutek tuner nearby they should be able to verify this for you.

I've figured that out already. I don't have ecutek tuner nearby to verify, closest one is 6hrs away. If you have a cable and would like to help a fella and loan one to me? I'll pay shipping of course. If not then I need to put a deposit on one to loan from dynotronics in Texas or just buy one out right.

They won't let you return it? $10 is $10!!

For a 20% restocking fee they will, which is almost $120. Bit more than $10 lol. They will also let me exchange it for an ecutek cable and license, but that is almost $150 more than I paid for the OFT, and I've been told I won't need a license since I have one in the ecu already. And I'm pretty sure I know who tuned it, just have to get a copy of the rom sent to dynotronics or ecutek to see who signed it. So pretty much I'm just trying not to take a huge loss, and give someone somewhat of a deal on a brand new OFT.
