rocket bunny V1/V3 combination

Hello everybody,

I have a question regarding rb V3 front fenders. I want to install rb V1 kit but I would like to use V3 front fenders and bumper. I can't see clearly on internet photos but do V3 front fenders also require V3 sideskirts or are they made on the same principal as V1 fenders. In other words, can I use V1 kit with V3 front fenders/bumper?

Many thanks

From pictures I have seen. I don't think you need them.

Interested in what a V3 front with v1 rear mash-up will look like. Especially considering the V3 front is as wide as the V1 rear. They also don't really match in style.

Regarding the style I will have to play with photoshop to see how this would go together. I would really like a square setup but all wide body kits are so much wider at the rear. My other idea is to modify V1 front flares to make them as wide as the rear ones.

The V3 kit is made to mate up with a sideskirt

I think you'll have a slight ledge here, it wont curve to match up with the original body line

You can run a square set-up without the need to have an equal width front to rear. I am running an 18x10.5 285/30 square set-up on a v1 kit car currently. Plan is to eventually switch to 18x11 with 315 square. Vorshlag is going this direction with their car. 18x11 w/ 315/30 on a v1 flare car.

@DustinS

Thanks for the photos. Your car looks awesome :) but maybe I should clearify that by square setup I was refering to looks of the body kit and not the wheels. I know I am being picky but if only I could find the front flares as wide as the rear ones I think it would look badass :)

+90 front fenders would look wackkkkk

@VIP BRZ

Yes you nailed it. that is exactly what I would like for somebody to clearify.

@Soloside

V3 front fenders are 65mm, just like V1 rears.

Edit: unless you ment V3 rears and 90mm fronts. That would make car look like a square from above :D
But I don't like V3 rears anyway.

You might try HGK racing. They sell wider front fender replacements meant for drift cars with the angle kits. Sticks further out than normal kit. 85mm larger than factory fenders from the info I have.

Ahh I see. I must have misunderstood. I thought you wanted to have a v3 rear (+90) and a front fender that matched the rear.

Awesome! Thanks @DustinS I will have a look at those.
