2016 Subaru BRZ Limited - Supercharged, Meticulously Maintained and Modded

Hello all,

I am selling my beloved 2015 BRZ Limited 6MT, my dream car which I meticulously maintained and modded with only the best. My only reason for selling was being able to upgrade to my next dream car, my new to me Porsche 911 Carrera T (tuned :)).

The BRZ has 82,XXX miles, almost all are highway. No accidents. Full maintenance log available.


Some highlights:

- I spent a lot of time with Bill from Delicious Tuning to get the Edelbrock supercharger to perform flawlessly, smoother than oem. The car dynoed at 300hp at an early point in its tune, so is likely above that now.

- The sound system was put in by a premier installer in the Bay Area, Simplicity in Sound, and is phenomenal. Please see the components--Morel, Illusion Audio, Arc Audio, a seamlessly built in undertrunk Stereo Integrity sub, Mosconi Gladen DSP... it is truly a world class system, and looks totally stealth (cost was $6k).

- Needless to say, the Ohlins coilover suspension is fantastic. I love it. Dare I say better than my Porsche stock suspension.

- The carbon fiber driveshaft is awesome: smooth, light, and with a rubber band effect you can feel.

- The interior is immaculate.

In order to meet smog to sell the car, I will remove the Ace Header and re-install the stock exhaust all the way through (but will give you the Ace Header, downpipe, and Milltek exhaust). The JDM aero underpanels are also not yet installed.


My dream car was a Porsche, and I had a goal of slowly making my BRZ akin to a modern classic Porsche. Small and lightweight, back seats, good power-to-weight ratio, low center of gravity, incredible handling, etc., but with modern ICE and amenities. I think that goal was achieved. In order to get there, I spent a crazy $40,000 in mods.


The car appraises at $17,687 on all the usual sites, Carvana, etc. If I were to try and recover 25% of the cost of the mods, that would be about $10,000, which would make for a selling price of ~$27,000 OBO. I am willing to accept less than that for the convenience of not parting out.


I understand for anyone in the market for a car like this, that is probably steep. It would be for me too. So, I leave it to you to make some offers which you think are fair, now that you know the full background and intent of the car. I would rather sell the car with all the mods to the right buyer who will take care of the car. If you are that person who loves what has been done to the car, then one thing is for sure: you'd be getting a hell of a deal.

Don't be afraid to make an offer; don't worry I won't be insulted or anything, I know how this all works.

If that person is not out there who likes the car as is, I will part out (but that would be a travesty!).
