PTUNING Flex Fuel Kit w/Bluetooth Module

After extensive R&D, we're finally ready to release our new PTUNING Bluetooth Flex Fuel System. Our kit utilizes the latest compact flex fuel sensor along with a bluetooth-capable flex fuel module. Our flex fuel kit will also be compatible with our future Return-Style Fuel System. This future system will feature a swirl pot/surge tank assembly to allow for 500+whp builds and also prevent fuel starvation on track cars.

We had a few design criteria that we wanted to meet with our Flex Fuel System:

- Hide the flex fuel sensor for aesthetic reasons (all flex fuel sensors are ugly)
- Locate the flex fuel sensor and lines in a location that provides for increased collision protection
- Needs to be compatible with our future fuel return system

The Flex Fuel System will include the following:

- New style compact flex fuel sensor
- Custom laser-cut and CNC-bent PTUNING sensor mounting bracket
- Billet Aluminum OEM-style Quick Connect Fittings
- Ethanol compatible racing-quality fuel lines with AN Fittings
- All necessary electrical connectors to wire up to the factory ECU
- Complete installation and wiring manual
- Bluetooth module for use with Android devices (Can also be wired up to the auxiliary input on P3 Cars Gauges)

The tablet is just a device to flash rom\tune what you need in the software changes in the ecu to interpret and act on the flex fuel sensor volts.

Shiv is currently working with a guy in australia who has flex fuel coding for opensource Its working A01G and a use rom shiv is testing on his turbo car, but it will need to be ported across to other roms. Its possible this may be added to openflash tunes in the future

This device will only provide the 0-5V output needed to integrate with your ECU. However, like with all flex fuel kits, you will need the custom RaceROM maps available with ECUTek in order to integrate flex fueling. If OFT is working on developing their own custom ROM features, then it may be possible to do flex fueling down the road.

The Buetooth feature will only work with Android devices, but the ECU (ECUTek) will always be able to read the 0-5V output signal regardless. An IOS version may be available later on down the road. Unfortunately, developing hardware/software for Apple products always take a lot longer to do. :/

This device can be integrated with the factory ECU (currently only ECUTek) using either the CPC pressure sensor or rear O2 sensor input. The ECUTek software uses 16 custom RaceROM maps that allow the tuner to write his/her own maps for fueling, timing, boost, etc. based on measured ethanol content.

We offer in-house dyno tuning as well as various eTunes for NA and FI applications. We often take advantage of just about every available custom RR maps to allow the factory ECU to take on a standalone type of feel in terms of flex-fueling capability. This can include Boost by gear, boost by ethanol content, variable boost cut based on ethanol content and the list goes on and on. The custom RaceROM features pretty much will allow an experienced tuner to take full advantage of this flex-fuel system.
