Seat squeaking

Hi everyone !

I have some issues with the driver's seat that started squeaking, please have a look at the video i've just made :
https://youtu.be/W1tBEqWVZPY

This is annoying getting in/out the car :/

Do you have any tips fixing it without tearing the seat apart ?

Thanks for your help have a nice day !

Bubba says to mix up a soapy water solution, fill up a syringe and inject the soapy water into the seat where it is squeaking and work it in.

Why not I can give it a try !

Perhaps using some lubricant instead of soap ?

Thanks

Well, you might try some silicone spray. However, the soapy water might disperse a bit further. - :iono:

Bubba also suggests injecting saddle soap - get it, "saddle" soap - :D

Sorry I don't get it but English is not my mother tongue ;)

Soapy water bugs me because there is an airbag in the seat and I don't want to mess with its wiring / connector (even thougth I think it's pretty safe)

Will update once it's done :party0030:

Hmmm......good thought, I hadn't thought about the air bag - :iono:

"Saddle soap" is a cleaner/conditioner that used to be used on leather products like boots and saddles. Saddle is to a horse as the seat is to a car - get it - ;)
