Hi, dear all!

I am a newbie...coming from Italy and awaiting my WRB BRZ late in May. I follow this forum since a few and I find and found a lot of infos. Thanks to all.

Here I wish to thank all you for suggestions (damn! I loose a large amount of cash on Japanparts!!! my credit card is on fire!!) and I think to be useful to share with you a .ISO image of "Service Manual BRZ 2013" (fits Europe and USA versions, 335 Mb), fully browsable. No activation required, simply mount it with Daemon tools lite i.g. and enjoy it! Runs on Win Platform.

Thanks to Hachi for support! :thanks:

Here is my dropbox public link:

Requires Internet Exploder and ActiveX. Mac users are out of luck unfortunately...

You sir, are a gentleman and a scholar.

Thank you for sharing that with us. And congratulations on your new purchase.

I run Mac since 1990! You can on OsX run it with several Tools. Later I will try on Firefox to see what happens.

I dont even own a BRZ yet but thanks!

Sensisnow 05-01-2013 11:00 PM

I'm having an issue running this on Windows 7 using Daemon Tools Lite, it just doesn't seem to install. I'm quite familiar with using Daemon Tools, but I'm not sure what's going on. Any suggestions?

Maybe try downloading the most recent version of Daemon Tools Lite? I just ran it and it worked fine.

I just did that, and I'm running on a version of Windows that I just installed last night. Guess it's time to do a bit of troubleshooting on my end.

Edit: Got it working now, just had to adjust some IE settings since I never use IE. I really wish this would work with other browsers, but if I have to use IE for anything, this is worth it!

Trap63 05-02-2013 07:27 AM

So, friends. I hate Explorer (the worst browser in Planet!), but all the services and workshops of all mainly automotive constructors run on win Platform.....BMW with TIS, Chrysler-FIAT Europe with ePer and some others... Often I use them on an older notebook running Win7 (useful for diagnostic tools to erase/cancel ECU's error).
I still search some software that let me personalize some BRZ features/customizations of BRZ whithout visit the dealer each time (and without pay a lot for SSM!).
I'll investigate through a friends of mine still working in Subaru Italy. Be Tuned!

ciao, passa anche nel forum italiano :D

Sport-Tech 05-02-2013 01:32 PM

I've extracted all the files to a folder on my Win7 box, but the setup.exe in the root folder will not run. Anyone? Do you have to mount the ISO?

Edit: Burned the ISO to a CD, still no good. But there appears to be workaround - don't install anything after extracting, just open the index.html file in the G4400GE subfolder with IE and then you appear to be able to get at all content.

runs "As" on win Platform then locate index.html within DIR as you can see in the links of the two pics above (post no.1). Verify and kill any antivirus in the worst option or authorize it (maybe it occours in some instances of several antivirus sw, mine not).

Hi xjohnx! I know TTS, but does it run all features on BRZ too? I know about SSM for subby customization . So, I'll try asap when my Brz comes! (I hate seat belts warn on start)

For the non-windows users, once you mount the CD, just goto:

G4400GE/contents/pdf

There is the electrical, service, manual trans & general information PDFs that have the meat you're looking for. Everything else appears to be Adobe framemaker wrappers around the manuals.

Boxer 86 05-03-2013 02:15 PM

Now we just need a PDF version for us fellow iPad users for fixing on the fly :)

Lverasky 05-03-2013 03:02 PM

klch 05-03-2013 05:29 PM

amazing, good job!
Thank you!

milanojess 05-03-2013 07:42 PM

boxer_86 that's exactly what kndonlee pointed out, there's a pdf folder that contains the meat of all the info :)

Thanks Kndonlee for pointing that out!!!

Wasabi 05-08-2013 12:45 AM

tried clicking on the hotlink, but it just opens a new window with no web address.

Also copied and pasted the link seemed to work.

You must "save as"......window takes long time to open (335 mb) as you do. This is a direct link to image.

Not sure if this'd work with WINE or not. I use a Virtual Box Win7 VM a couple times per year for stuff like this.
