Wheel Spacers on stock wheels??
Does anybody have wheel spacers on their stock wheels? I was looking at 25mm for the rear but can't decide what to have up front. 10, 15, or 25.
I was looking at getting these: http://perrinperformance.com/c-74511...ers-tires.html . Does anyone with spacers on have pics? I really want to see how the different combinations look. :thanks: |
20mm front 25mm rear seems to be pretty common, and a couple vendors here sell those setups. Are you at stock ride height or lowered?

I have the 25mm spacers all the way around on my car, here's a pic with H&R sport springs next to a lowered car without spacers! Sorry I don't have any pics with the stock springs handy. There's plenty of room though, not even close to rubbing ever.

I'm also running 20 front and 25 rear.

20mm spacer on the rear only. Car is dropped 1" all round on H&R springs.

I'm leaning toward 20 up front now and 25 in back. If I do this setup or spacers in general is there any adjustments that have to be made like to the camber or anything? Sorry for all the questions but I haven't really messed with wheels on my cars before! lol
|
Nope! Just get an alignment when you get the springs installed, and you'll be fine.

Besides looks, do spacers change other things about the car? Like the way it drives? I'm also thinking of getting some and a total noob :)
|
It will make the car take turns a little better, since the wheels are going to be pushed out a little further. Other than that, it doesn't really make any difference in how the car drives.
