Selling my 2019 Limited BRZ for the right price. Car does not have to go. It is a great track car that is still comfy for the street, ready to go. Really want to explore more cars. This is my second 86, and I am really looking into an S2000, so having two very similar cars does not make sense for me.

Just to iterate how clean and well kept this car is. Bump.

If this baby sells, you'll break the record for most expensive twin sold!

Desain2137 06-19-2021 11:22 AM

Oh I know. Tbh don’t care if it doesn’t (kinda hoping it doesn’t). I do question the 86 community logic though. If TJHunt style bagged builds with no refinement and little to no track capability can sell for the 30’s, a turn key track car with meticulous maintenance is still a steal at 40k, especially considering the way used car prices are going.

Oh I don't question the logic here, it's quite sound. This car is well worth the money likely. Also, like with any vehicle, mods decrease the value, rather than increasing it. Twins just tend to run low unfortunately, and everyone follows that trend. I think one thing that could help is including the MSRP total of all your upgrades to show its worth. But in general, if you happen to find the perfect customer looking for a nice track setup, you may end up in luck!

To name a few:

MCS 2WNR Coilovers - $4560
Brembo GTS Kit - $3780
SPL Arms ~ $3000
Endless pads F and R ~ $700
2 x Recaro RSGS with PCI mounts - $3000
JDL Exhaust and custom catback -$3250
Voltex wing and trunk -$2700
Volk ZE40 - $3300

Considering KBB value of a stock car is around $24k right now, I would say the price is fair.

Generally mods decrease value, but in the racing community turn key race cars experience the opposite effect. Look at track prepped M3’s and S2K’s for example, selling well above market value.

Like I originally said, car doesn’t have to go, but I would like to accelerate my move to another platform. As anyone can see from the prices above, this really is a steal.

I fully agree with you and I wish you good luck with the sale. I am in full understanding that these are quality parts that make this a hell of a car for the track!

Here some more pictures of it doing work. Ran fastest of the HPDE3 Group at a NASA FL Region event at Sebring this past weekend. Estimating it can easily run close to 2:31-32 in a clean session. The build quality shows as Sebring is a hard track on cars and not one issue arose all weekend. Brakes were solid every session, oil temps stayed around 240F, and tire temps stayed consistent due to a well researched alignment setting. Still open to good offers.
