Chassis mounted splitter
https://modinfinite.com/collections/...mount-splitter
Anyone have experience running something like this? Normally I see the support rods out the front. This is height and angle adjustable while being chassis mounted. Anyone use battle aero before? Thanks! |
Would have to see install instructions to compare to the Marsh splitter (instructions).

I've been trying to pick one of these up locally from BattleAero but there communication is abysmal..
Strange they don't even have this product up yet on there own website, i was told they were "filling pre-orders" don't know how you got in on one of these pre-orders. The last update they gave me they were waiting on more brackets (2/19) was told i would be updated when they arrived, but i doubt it really put me off to the whole company honestly.. i'm having second thoughts, splitter looks amazing though |
Some guy on Facebook is promoting the shit out of them like they're a stocked item. Anyone can order off the website.
No mention of a preorder. Looked like a decent enough product, and I like that its chassis mounted. Just didnt know if it was a quality item or if there were specific negatives by going chassis mount or not. I have been leaning towards verus / velox on items lately but this piqued my interest. |
This is cool but I’d do Verus or MPHF over this in heartbeat.

I'm likely to wind up with the verus piece, just hadn't seen this or really heard of the company before. Still pretty interested in it. |
This peaked my interest as well when I saw it. The biggest thing I liked about it is being able to adjust the height to accommodate different lips n bumpers. I'd still probably go with verus splitter and get the battleaero bracket piece for height adjustment, keeping the splitter as parallel to the ground, and support towards the backside of the splitter without needing long bolts and spacers.

I ended up ordering this from Modinfinite, I'll report back here with my brief review
I'll probably end up painting over the "battlearo" branded bits |
I received mine today.
1. Packaged extremely well. 2. No instructions. There are two brackets I'll need to figure out once I am installing. 3. There's missing hardware. I messaged BattleAero and they said "sorry". 4. The hardware that bolts brackets to the splitter are too short, they only half way use up the nut threads. 5. The splitter is wood with thin laminate on either side. 6. Paint work isn't great. *winglets aren't mocked up since there was no hardware included to do so. Not all of this is a game stopper, just annoying. it's funny bc the cover photo on their Facebook page is my old car.
but... I looked at their page, their FB, social media... can't find any address or contact info other than a form. company may be legit but the lack of contact options makes it unappealing. buyer beware. |
@turnswrench Please do an installation guide on this. From what I can see, it looks like it requires the removal of the crash beam as it sandwiches the bracket between the radiator support and the beam.
|
I'll stop after work and get the hardware that I need and then look at pulling the front bumper if I get the time. Stay tuned.
|
Just following up, I didn't get around to pulling the bumper but did buy new stainless hardware to be able to install the splitter. Battle Aero wasn't willing to send the missing hardware.
|
Undertrays and plastics removed, bumper off, crash bar uninstalled and reinstalled with main splitter brackets sandwiched in. Will pick it up tmrw maybe. So far, so good.
