BRZ Crank position wheel
 

Howdy all,
Im down to the dreaded wiring part of my swap. I have been helped by a couple people (Fair, thank you) in showing me the trick of welding a brz crank pick up wheel to the LS balancer to trick the dash into seeing a Tach signal. From here i figure we can use the BRZ coolant temp sensor also and the dash should fire up and signal the power steering and abs to work properly.

Does anybody have any more info on doing this and what all is required that im missing? Any people on here proven this works with any suggestions? I know of another member that ran the "wasted spark" setup that supposedly did this. I cant find his post anymore. Anybody have his name or what i should be searching for to find that thread?
