I already get exploited enough on a daily basis, I don't need a huge chunk of my web activity being sold to chuds who pay 15 cents to serve up an ad to some dumb shit I don't need, or some multibillion dollar company noone has ever heard of making a profile of me that they just hand over to whoever has money or asks

Well, I loved my time away from Facebook and it certainly has its negatives but it is such a simple tool for lightweight event organization and collaboration. I will try and let you guys know when we do things.

Breadman 09-22-2017 11:05 PM

While we got this pgh thing rolling, does anyone run catless? I'm wondering what inspections are like with them. I'm planning on ace headers after my inspection at the beginning of the year. I'm coming from a diesel which was do whatever

Your long lost 'twin' perhaps?

Soloside 11-17-2017 05:22 PM

Found an older fellow driving a white BRZ down 422 towards KOP. You didn't seem interested in returning my wave :( :(

Bought my car there. Have a buddy from Waaayyy back in high school working there as a sales manager. Nice people, just avoid their maintenance shop.

Lol, Simplicity at its best. Didn't see a light blue RS behind me though.

My brother’s dash cam spotted someone in a blue BRZ. Unfortunately he spotted you because you were going 45mph in a neighborhood and passing him on a neighborhood street yesterday morning. This was in Imperial, PA heading toward Robinson. Come on, guy, use some sense when you are driving. There used to be huge speed bumps on the exact stretch of road where you passed him.

Spotted At Roundtop mountain ski resort this morning. Outfitted with Steelies and snow tires. Put those to good use getting there. Not a drive I would have wanted to do. That road is no fun with snow on it.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...2afd88daa8.jpg

Hey, that's me :-)

Was a fine drive......studded snow tires make all the difference in the world:burnrubber:

bmacfrs 01-07-2018 07:04 PM

Hopefully you had a good a day on the slopes too. Conditions were about as good as it gets there.

You planning auto-x in the region this year? what class?

Yes, snow has been great there all season. I teach there on the weekends, so you will always see the BRZ there on Sat. and Sun.

I bought the car in September and raced twice with phillySCCA and twice with SusqSCCA, once being a muddy rallyX event.

I run C stock in soloII and am currently trying to source a good used FSB and FSB end links and also some good lightweight 16" wheels and tires.

I haven't seen any other BRZ or FRS' at Roundtop....you hibernating for the winter?

DocWalt 01-09-2018 09:22 AM

^^ You should be running D Street, BTW, the pre '17 BRZs are in DS. It'll help you out PAX wise :)

AFewBricksShy 01-09-2018 10:08 AM

Saw a white BRZ with what I believe were Valenti tails and a black spoiler on 309 S. this morning around Norristown Road. Nice looking car, I really liked the spoiler.

Yes, I realize I made that same mistake in the C street thread....whoops!

I did actually run DS the two soloII events I have done in the car since I purchased it in September

Yep, I have a Tacoma for this time of year.
I did CS last year due to having the TRD stuff. Going STX now.
BTW, I think you can have one bar change (front or rear) but I dont recall that different end links were allowed.
Also, I will be selling the wheels and tires i was using. They are 17 but very lite. PM me if you're interested in the specs.

DocWalt 01-10-2018 11:13 PM

Different end links & swaybar bushings are allowed on the one bar that you do. I'd recommend doing the front for CS/DS

Hey Guys and Gals, long time no speak, see you guys all the time. Will be back to planning monthly events for the club soon, then we will spot a whole bunch of us in a pack again when the weather breaks.

yerg 02-27-2018 08:27 PM

Saw a white twin parked after the walt toll booths in the afternoon rush hour, looking nice with the tinted windows.

Agreed. In that vein, I saw 2 in Phoenixville yesterday. One red 86 parked near the ice cream shop and one on 23 by the hospital, a blue 86.
