Downforce options for the GR86

Looking to add a splitter in the front and a wing in the back, but I can’t find anything available. Any tips?

While on that subject, are there any manufacturers offering half cages, yet?

Nice Lives Racing is working on a wing.

Verus engineering and ARP would be good choices to start looking at

That’s what I’m talking about!

Verus is currently working on some front splitter options. Stay tuned. Soon™

I inquired about a functional rear diffuser, they are also developing that too.

They have some preproduction units available at a discounted cost.

email Sales@Verus-engineering.com to snag one!

Dude, I got one discounted to be a tester! And I’ll get some money back if I put together an installation pdf. WIN!

Buy a wing, build a splitter. Most of the shelf splitter are non functional or barely functional. Why? Main concern with those pieces is ground clearance, easy of install, no drilling holes, and looking pretty. Function is nowhere near the top of those priorities. Its almost always the same with wings, its just a lot easier to have a wing that is functional and looks pretty and install easily. Splitters are very height sensity and need very high rigidity to avoid bending underload and starving the underbody of air. Check profesionnaly awesome's page, they have a whole section dedicated to that and explains the mains dos and donts regarding building a splitter and other downforce generating devices.

I wonder how this fits both brz and gr86 considering the BRZ’s sway bar brackets sit 30mm further to the rear.

Guess I'll find out when I get it.

Haha! I look forward to seeing pics.

Verus often does different versions DD depending on BRZ or FRS in the past if it warrants it. I really like my street defuser on 1st gen FRS. Mounting is really sturdy
