GT86/BRZ owners in Estonia!

Hi, here to start topic and enumerate Estonian owners. We are close to Finnish. Maybe someday we can arrange a get together.

So, llittle about me, got GT86 - Red.
Smallest mods possible done, had few warranty issues, in future i got big plans.
bought end of 2012 and got fair amount of experience with a car driving and mechanical wise. So please, feel free to join in.

Edit #1
I decided to mark up mods and small things that have made my ride smoother(although nothing seems to fix second gear :D)
* Fixed rear license plate to body with magnets(no more rattle)
* whiteline transmission insert
* cusco turn spin knob(for handbreak)
* gearbox with pentosin MTF2 75w80
* rear license plate LEDs
* RALLY ARMOR UR MUD FLAPS(black with red letters)
* strongflex SPORT full suspension bush kit - car is so much more predictable in oversteer, also lot of camber(about 1 degree) added to rears, super on track, for drift car is little underpowered now. decreased front caster, i find this also helpful - countersteer is not so violent and requires a bit push from driver, maybe someday i'll correct this.
Poly bushes for stabilizer bar don't have inner tube, and do require very seldom oiling, i would suggest to use some super slippery tape to cover the bar under bush, 3M makes purpose tape for decreasing wear and friction, this will last forever and you don't have to worry about this squeaking noise ever happening, usually after a trackday when stuff is how and maybe some rain that will wash all grease away.
* TRD USA short shifter - one bolt keeps unscrewing itself, total pain, but i'd prefer that to kartboy shifter rubbing with propeller shaft. screw glue didn't help, i think i have better luck with teflon(brass pipe) tape.
* ACT 6 puck clutch with super light flywheel and HD pressure plate - when changing clutch or tranny is off for any reason, install shift lever retainer bushings, i suggest solid ones. once you go harder and harsher they will be the softest link and this will screw with gear change a bit(as reverse stop plate will move a little and misshift happens).
* heavy gear knob(500gr, stock is 230gr).
* Trackday tires :D yokohama advan neova ad08
* obdlink mx - bluetooth diagnostics
* arkon tab mount 22inch gooseneck
* lenovo tablet + torque app :D
* MINI VCI OBD2 to USB cable - Toyota TIS software
* HEL braided Clutch hose(Ordered, hasn't arrived, i'll mix it with ATE SP.6 clutch fluid, people say it's the best thing possible, i'll see)
coming up Next(for hot summer to lessen the heat soak and change filter the same time).
* TRD COLD AIR INTAKE - Cancelled MOD, K&N drop in is good enough for starters, as next step on intake may be Vortech.

Edit #2
Some things have been added to the car again, i'll fill out before i forget.
* Noise gen delete mod
* K&N air filter - this truly makes a difference, i had clean cotton filter before, thought not much going to change, but it did.
* K&N HP-1004 oil filter
* Bardahl 0w30 oil
* BC racing coilovers with 45-50mm drop - little scrapie at first, but learned to drive again, all good. Afterall, that's what underbody protection panels are all about :D
* poly steering rack bushes - noticable difference but nothing too exceptional
* super light weight belt pulleys(go fast bits) - doesn't change much under WOT but rev matching and free rev does benefit significantly
* throttle body spacer - does nothing but looks pretty
* cusco accelerator pedal - wow, this thing is amazing, even for DD, holding accelerator steady has yet to be so comfortable.
* went all red LED interior lighting - SEXY

Edit #3
* Aluminium wheel nuts - i know, fragile, but if handled correctly i see no issues.
* Mtec shift springs - Installed, definetly one of the first things to change(although pain in the ass, broke a finger undoing the detent).
* Cusco Engine/motor mounts - this is must have No1 thing if you plan to have something more than just a DD. Adds very little engine noise(level is about same as with soundtube, but also there without sound tube), a whole lot of vibration. If you want smooth ride, you probably have bought a BMW or merc or audi, so this should be one of the first mods. i have diff inserts as well, so power delivery is so immediate. compared to stock i would say it's like having 500RPM turbo lag and you just instantly got rid of it. Magical parts. Of Course added weight is about 1,5kg per piece so you'll add 3kg onto front axle. ALSO WORTH MENTIONING - all previous mod related to torque and acceleration(lighter rotational stuff) benefit from this exponentially, revvin' so fast now :D
* oil catch can arrived, as suspected, it's empty ALU bottle with AN fittings :D I'll construct a baffle into it and the install with intake clean up. Liquy moly has some good throttle cleaner i tend to use, if this doesn't take my butt dyno to happy level, probably will take whole intake off and polish it and wrap into golden tape.

Required next
* LCA's for rear camber correction
* smooth silicone intake tube
* dimmable red footwell lighting, that works in sync with gauges or something.
* oil catch can with intake manifold cleaning - should have been first thing done
* rear window tinting - so that sun would not hurd my newborns eyes in the back.
* Forester oil cooler mod - i'll probably pick up any oil cooler element from scrapyard for cheap and engineer things together.
* air intake termo shielding

Orange GT86

Hey, I've got an orange GT86 with stock aero kit - posting pictures soon!:coolpics:

So far I have changed the second cat back to a (almost) straight pipe and just yesterday threw a subwoofer into the trunk where some cars have a spare tire. The car just had it's first birthday :cheers:

I also have a big list of what to do with the car :burnrubber:

Just adding myself to this thread.

I have blue gt86, registered 2015 just couple of weeks ago. ~1700km so far.

brzest 06-17-2016 02:45 AM

Not really. We have a group of 6 cars at the moment so we have a Facebook group chat at the moment.
If anyone from Estonia with a GT86/BRZ is reading this, get in touch ;)

Hello everyone!
Just over 4 years ago, I exchanged my Toyota a little unfinished for another brand and the silent fiber parts I purchased for Toyota remained in stock. That is, the front fenders are of the original design (not wide body) and the roof piece, all are dry-carbon parts made by SeibonCarbon.
I sell everything for € 1,000, transport to Estonia can also be done through a co-worker (Tallink-Silja), I have to inquire first.
Happy end of summer and safe miles for everyone!
