spotted an ultramarine blue frs, stock, on jenkintown road going towards susquehanna rd. i was about 7 cars behind you and when i made the left, i tried to catch up with you... couldnt find you. i think you dipped off behind the wendys in dresher... only logical reason on to why i couldnt find my twin :/

I saw a WRB BRZ on Penrose Ave in Philadelphia around 3:10 P.M. on August 3rd. I may have seen you once before on Penrose Ave a few months ago. I was driving a WRB Series Blue.

The guy Driving said "Nice car" as i was walking to my firestorm red 2012 with black 5 stars. all I had time to say when i looked up was "OH Shit" AHAHAHA. Just wanted to say Nice whip if your on here that exhaust sounded good.

I've seen one other WRB BRZ every now and then taking my route home from work.

There's a red FRS that's parked outside a CVS pretty often(Guessing they work there).

There's a BRZ parked outside of a hair cut place on the same street as that CVS. (Guessing they also work there).

And then there's about 3 BRZs and 2 FRS' at work, parked in the various lots.

But other than that first BRZ, I rarely see any actually on the road. I don't really drive mine nearly as much as I used to...(Because I bought a bike, and parking is so easy with a bike...What? No spaces? Cool I'll just park in this corner.)

I do the same thing and ride my bike pretty much every nice day out (in fact i rode about 90 miles today) and all through the week i'm driving the company vehicle. So the BRZ doesn't come out much.

The Black FRS at CVS is my buddy be-one. he also works at the hospital in harrisburg

Sgtfluffy16 08-09-2015 10:59 PM

SPOTTED: 2 WRB BRZ's together heading 15 south after york springs around 6:30pm tonite. one had red tail lights and thats all i could see. I was heading northbound on the bike so couldn't really look, or hear if it had an exhaust. My R1 is rather loud at highway speeds

That might change as I'm planning on boosting my BRZ...so the bike might be sitting still for a while...

Bought the SBD v2 kit, if you've got any specific questions pm @spdbydesign, he's pretty quick. Or you could join the FB group, everyone is very helpful on there. I'll be installing the kit this weekend actually.

But general overview is SBD V2 kit(10Psi) on 91 should do about 250-270whp and it's $2999.

Yeah, that's Steve Miller. He posted this in the Keystone State 86 Club Facebook group page last night. The big north side parking garage meet last night. I saw it there, too. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...54415373_n.jpg

So I finished the install, which was......fun... Under 3k, the car is completely normal, but the second you get to 3k and it starts to build boost, it's just awesome. Holy hell.

Back on topic, saw a white brz on us-15

did you slap in the kit by yourself? and how long did it take for the install? I'm pretty mechanically inclined so was considering doing it myself. would be my first turbo install but have a buddy who's done a couple and he will be with me. :thanks:

Installed it with two of my buddies. Took two days total, because the bolts connecting the stock header to the overpipe were a complete pain to remove(ended up shearing one of the bolts). Then while installing the downpipe, the two lower bolts are a complete bitch to get to. That's what took the majority of the time.

As far as experience goes, this was the first time I've ever done a turbo install. Only thing I've done before was a complete engine(7M-GE) rebuild.

The other two helped with that rebuild, and one of them have turbo'd another car.

So, completely doable in a weekend. You might just hit a few annoying snags.

that's kind of what I was figuring. I remember the those same bolts being a PITA when I put the borla on but that was pretty recent so hopefully they aren't as bad this time around. appreciate the answer. i'm guessing it was totally worth it though?
