Subaru Global Recall Checker (Japanese) - valve and so on

If you wish to discover each recall about your BRZ :

https://www.subaru.co.jp/recall/?fbc...6jtYJlnCtdViC4

SELECT 3rd blue box "recall information" リコール等情報対象車両検索

then

CHECK YOUR VIN WITH "ZC6" (1st box) AND LAST SIX DIGITS OF VIN (2nd box) , (Chrome with Google Translator extension will help).

Or you can use this: https://vinrcl.safercar.gov/vin/vinLookup
I put in my VIN and it looks like I'm a winner!
Finally get that oil leak fixed for free.

Every website says my VIN doesn't exist :(

Assuming that the oil is leaking from a portion of the engine that they will disassemble to replace the valve springs.

Just tore down a motor to replace the block. Chances are pretty good. Most common oil leak spot is the front cover, because so much sealant.

Call the dealer with your vin, you have the right number likely . This happened to me as well . One week I checked the websites including the Subaru website for recalls with my vin and their were no recalls reported , a few days later I checked the same sites and it states my vin was incorrect . I decided to call Subaru recall number , they ran the same number and insisted my number was wrong , I had them call the Subaru dealer where I bought the car , the dealer ran the vin number and sure enough I'm under the recall . I hope this helps you .
