I received my SB USDM tail lights today. I have a question. Did anyone notice swirl marks on the plastic face?

Maybe I didn't notice the plastic protector... hahaha...
I just checked using a flash light and I couldn't see any protective film. It looks like it was wiped down with a rough towel or something. I'll take some pictures tomorrow. |
All lamps will go through polishing work at final stage. The swirl mark may come from that!

Where does the optional wire need to be attached to make it blink 5 times?

Optional wire needs to be attached to the brake wire(red one) at the back of tails to activate the blink-5-times thing.

Got mine last week! Look mint! A+

Last question I promise. So run the wire all the way up to the tail lights, splice into that and attach that optional wire to it?

Exactly, attach the optional wire to the red brake wire (back of Valenti lamp) You can use a T-clip for easy wiring. Actually, there are quite a few installation video on Youtube. Just google "BRZ valenti tail light installation". And you'll see them all! Sincerely, Panson |

Has anyone had any problems with bulbs burning out or are they pretty solidly made?
|
Since everything is LEDs, you won't see them "burning out" for at least 25k hours or about 3 years running constantly. Aside from people having issues from the factory, you might not see anything about burnt out LEDs for 5 years or more. I haven't had any issues with mine but then again, they're only a month old.

Valenti comes w/ 1 full year warranty covering any dead leds or condensation issues.
Usually, defective leds will be dead within 1st year. That's where our warranty comes into place for replacement. As long as leds sustain the 1st year, that means they are good for another 3~5 years. Sincerely, Panson Quote:
