Kind of late to be starting this thread, don't you think?

It's never too late. This should have been started a while back.

Agree and it's not like they have a Release Series Emblem.

It would still be useful to know who has the Monogram, especially color and transmission, as there were only 2000 made of all various colors, I'm curious on the rarity of the different colors.

When the monogram was released someone on here broke down the numbers for each color. They also said roughly 25% had a manual transmission. Hard to say how legitimate that was though.

And now roughly 50% of them are probably wrecked!

My manual whiteout is still in one piece.

Yes! A manual Whiteout that is still in one piece.

The real winners are the manual Hot Lava monogram owners. There are probably only like 30 in North America

And I know two of those were written off from the stories on here.

I had started a 'Monogram Owner's Thread' when we were all eagerly awaiting our orders, but I guess nobody decided to do a registry as none of our cars were numbered or had 'special edition' badging.....which kinda sucked :P

Rarest of the rare! If we consider the posted numbers to be accurate then there were probably about 10 Lava MTs to start with. Two of those were confirmed totaled (although one could be back as a salvage) so that leave 8 across the country. Now of course that is a lot of guesses and we have no clue how many others were wrecked but still a very low number no matter what.
They didn't even offer the Lava Monogram in Canada. All you could get was white, black, or red.

I still have my Hot Lava Monogram, though it's an AT. A few dings here and there but still good to go.

I'm pretty sure there are 2 HL Monograms with a MT in the bay area. I found that surprising because I feel like most Lava 86s are up north and in the Midwest.

At first chance when the weather is good and the car washed :)

Birthday 03/21/14 (as expected), arrived to Cali in 4/18 (as expected), arrived to the dealership 4/24 (a day early), bought her on 4/25. Was rather mad that she had 12 miles given no one has ever test drove her, not even myself.

What about my raven MT monogram? I'm assuming it's probably the most common one:bonk: at least I bought it for the seats and headlights

Since there isnt a good way to track down monograms, if anyone is selling a STICK monogram in red, hot lava, or white, please message me. Trying to find a good condition one for a while now.

You meant to say "Stock" right? Not a manual transmission one?

No I literally mean stick as in manual transmission. I've found quite a few monograms but for some reason most tend to be automatic. At the least the ones for sale, that is.

Some people suck... See if CVS has outdoor cameras and see if there is witnesses or perhaps the license plate? Sad to see/hear...

Unfortunately CVS didn't have any outdoors cameras facing further than the side walk. Their cameras showed enough of the parking lot to see the other guys truck park, and shows him walking into the store, etc. Although the camera couldn't see past his quarter panel, so you can't see me actually park behind him, you can just see me walk past his car. But the cameras did catch him getting into his truck and him backing up and then pulling forward. But the CVS cameras couldn't see any plates, and Florida doesn't have any front plates. I thought I might get lucky as this happened in a plaza with 5-6 stores, but none of them have cameras facing the parking lot.

SUCKS, Happened to our Lexus, but at my wife's work parking lot. They had camera but wasn't able to clearly show the driver or plates. It did clearly show her park, back into my car and then move their car to another parking spot. Sheesh... Still nothing came from it and the police wouldn't do anything other than admit that the footage shows the accident and it wasn't our fault. Luckily it was just a rear quarter panel and was fixable. Insurance paid for it, so good as new. Good luck with the next vehicle.
