I'm all for wide bodies but this guy takes the cake for ruining a good thing. Man he killed the lines of the car so bad the damn car looks like a tractor now. To each their own I suppose. I sure hope he has a 1200hp lsx or 2jz to make use of that 18x16 lol. Bananas!

I am pretty sure that he met his goals since they were probably to get people to say exactly what has been said!


In the realm of WTF cars in Japan that only rates about a 2/10.

Woulda been cool if the front was just as wide, but fuck that. I'm all for dat stance look doe, but when you only do it to half the car, the fuck is wrong with you?

I spent a good part of the 70s trying to get the biggest wheels/tires on the back and the smallest on the front that I possibly could. Not to mention a 12"+ raise in the rear and a 3" drop in the front to make it even more aggressive. Did not care about handling as I only needed to go fast in a straight line anyway.
Like KR-S said it really was the thing to do once upon a time and survives in some of the retro hot rod gang to this day.

Tires aren't as big as you'd think. Almost all of the ridiculous stretched tire is outside of the factory wheel well living under those stupid flares.

It is a silly thing to do, but his wheel bearings will let him know that soon enough.

Pretty sure if he did all that work he took that into account and replaced the stock parts. It may be silly but the guy seems to know his stuff and that is no half assed build.
