Gas in a BRZ
Hey guys! I just got my Subaru BRZ and have been putting 89 octane gas in it. Would that gas be fine in a BRZ or do I have to put 91 octane in it? Thank you for your help!

totaled. seriously you should be using 91 at the VERY least. 93 is what this car was designed to run on. |
Read the manual. 91 minimum, 93 preferred.
Seriously, read the manual. And if this is a troll post, I'm deeply disappointed in you, because it's a poor effort. You can do better. |

I usually put 87 and then add some sugar to bump up the octane to 91 octane!!

Insta-banned!
If you use 110 leaded octane, your car will break through the 200 whp mark  |
I only use Scion-approved gas available in pint cans at my local Toyota dealership. Expensive, but worth it.

Do you not have 93 in Florida?
Seeing as you only have 1 post, Idk if you're trolling or not. |
Shit I hate it when I have to actually work and am late to the party.
Nice work guys! |

It was a joke guys haha I've only put 89 in it once and it wasn't me it was my dad who didn't know I fixed it with some octane booster. I usually put 91 in it. Don't really see much 93 around here to be honest. It's also in the owner's manual to use 91 or 93. Do you see much of a difference between 91 and 93?

Especially when it was your very first post. Now I am not sure if the 91/93 question is serious or also a "joke". Guess I will just stroll away and let somebody else field that one. http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-xLX2XsXanH...-Fishburne.gif |

Only 35 posts before a lock? You guys need to troll faster!
No but seriously, OP, don't make dumb threads. Also, everyone else, I know it's fun, but use the Off-Topic section to vent your trolling, pent up sexual energies towards @Tcoat, etc. Leave the general section for... er.. general stuffs. |
