TRD Driver Convenience parts?

This is my first post!
Hi, I have literally searched all of google.... but I can't find a Original Cup Holder for my FR-S ('13)... does anyone know where I can get one?? Or if there's a aftermarket part that just looks nice I'd be down with that.. kinda annoying when I buy drinks and everything just sloshes around haha.

I apologize if this is the wrong place to put this post.
Thank you guys.

Edit 1: OH CRAP WHYD I PUT TRD. NOW I LOOK LIKE A IDIOT... I was actually looking up TRD Spoilers before this and I guess what was stuck on my brain came onto the title. Sorry for the mislead lovelypeople.

LOLS2K 12-11-2015 11:19 AM

Just google Scion FRS cup holder:

Don't you have a cup holder in your door area?

Yep. I have done it several times. I just turn off the dry cycle though so it doesn't get heated up too much.

Will it survive the dry cycle?

Yeah good question LOLS2K I rather have a dry cup holder

KR-S 12-11-2015 11:46 AM

Does it really need to be put in the dishwasher though?

I reckon you could just wash it in the sink.

Good point I wash mine when I wash my car. I use my garden hose to clean it.

In theory I could, but I will only have a dishwasher for another couple of months (moving out). So I'm trying to get all my dishwashins in before converting to M/T.:burnrubber:

Don't know never tried.

Ummmm it will air dry. We never use the dry cycle on the dishwasher anyway since it just speeds things up by a few minutes and we are never quite that desperate for clean dishes.

What brand dish washer soap do you recommend? :threadjacked:

Mind you there will probably be 20 or 30 from guys that don't read beyond the first post and of course there will be several saying it is a waste of money or some such thing.
Not a jacking anyway since the questions were relevant to the part that was asked about.

I prefer manually washing my dishes. Provides better control over the wash and dry cycle. Plus, if you're using a dishwasher, you don't know how to hand wash things and that makes you less of an enthusiast.

I don't remember, but the little packet is blue/white and has a little red sphere in the center. I remember wife and I purchasing a different brand and it sucked (it left soap stains).

I do more housework than she does. Mind you we haven't cooked a meal in about 8 months so there isn't that much to be done.

go_a_way1 12-11-2015 12:00 PM

Has anyone seen the new hybird turbo AWD dishwasher that will be coming out in 2020??

I try to leave it to the wife. She's the true enthusiast. :bellyroll:
We compliment each other well. I'm safe as long as she doesn't read my posts :paddle:

Surely the old folks home doesn't have you yet?

On a serious note, I was hoping this thread was about those TRD wedge things for between the seat and the centre console

Technically belongs in the Interior sub anyway. Really was answered by LOL in the first reply.

Assuming that the OP question is thoroughly answered, what is your opinion on how the rest of the thread should go?

Hey, I know how to wash things manually but when there is a pileup of dishes on the counter the automated way is just way easier. I mean I could do it by hand but why? It makes you less of an enthusiast to be that closed minded. At the end of the day my dishes get clean just like yours, maybe even faster and isn't that all that matters?

Was more concerned with the grass popping in and out of nowhere wherever the dog goes.
