What is your fav penetrating lubrication ?
 

I usually just use WD40 bc its cheap and i have a bunch of cans all over but i heard a mix of acetone and transmission fluid really shows rust whos boss :D

I used sand or gravel it works wonders🤘❤️🙌🏽

PBBLaster. WD40 is evil, although it's a surprisingly good cleaner. DO NOT use it as a lubricant. It works OK when applied, but after a while it dries out into a gummy dirt-attracting mess and always does more harm than good. Use it to clean stuff... works wonders on engine compartments, duct tape residue... it's GREAT for that.

I used it on my exhaust bolts last weekend... did just fine. I trashed those bolts anyways and got new ones. Put some anti seize on those fuckers... wd40 4 lyfe

I agree. B'laster is really good for rusted parts. For other penetration purposes, I prefer Astroglide.

I heard using ATF and Acetone is better than even kroil....

My favorite lube is actually a hammer. I also have a 3/4" 20" breaker bar with adapters to fit any size socket. And my jack handle fits over the end so I can make it like 4 feet long lol

PBBlaster where a hammer won't work or other methods wont fit.

Honestly things like a hammer, big breaker bar, putting a pipe on your wrench if a hammer or breaker bar wont fit.

I'm a KY guy myself, but spit works in a pinch

Hammer and breaker bar works for both.

A good penetrating oil has the versatility to get either job done.

If you're going to trash whatever you're using WD40 on to remove, then it doesn't really matter, of course. Still, try using PBBlaster or SeaFoam. They both work MUCH better and much faster as a penetrating oil than WD40, and they don't make a mess should you decide to use them as a quick lightweight lubricant sometime, either. NO one I know who's used either has ever used WD40 as a penetrating oil or lubricant again. On the other hand, do whatever you want.
