Ahh I see. Back in my day no one could compare to me with a sniper. I would be the guy that camps in the most random places and hardscoped and my reflex was so insane I could kill people before the could even aim at me. But other then that I sucked haha! I also died a lot

I'm rather mediocre with a sniper, SMG's in your face action all the way for me. My old college roommate was the true master, and I pretty much learned everything just by copying him initially since at the time I was still primarily a PC gamer.

haha I am the guy that shoots someone like 10 times from behind only for them to turn around and knife me or somthing. Thats why I took up a sniper. I also was awesome with the riot shields.

i actually have a second copy coming my way,
ordered one through game stop online... selected shipping by mistake.. not sure how i missed it

but im to impatient.. wont be here till monday!

Ali-A who is a big youtuber for gaming has been posting video's of the game through the beta and as of this afternoon, full levels etc etc!

IMO it looks great! im coming off of Advance warfare that im obsessed with!

I'm saying mw3 was decent.. BO2, ghosts, advance warfare, etc. (idk what else came after) was all absolute garbage for me and thats why I wont buy another COD game.

I'm inclined to agree, I've loved the whole Black Ops series, and of course everything up to MW3. Ghosts sucked, AW was fun until it suddenly sucked. But, the BO3 beta felt like a fresh version of BO2, and genuinely has the smoothest gameplay overall.

waiting in line last night for a good 45 minutes... get to the line.. give them my order number and last night... guy comes back and says uhhhh you already picked it up.

lost story short... it was sold on me

I'm one of those people that's only good at arena style FPS's like CoD after just waking up in the morning or when moderately to severely caffeinated. Otherwise my reflexes don't wake up enough to be good before I'm annoyed.

Walmart does midnight releases also. My friend and I went last night drove by GameStop and there was a line around the building. Walk into Walmart go to electronics the dude was like "looking for call of duty I got it right here." No line at all. In and out in less than 5 minutes.

Any one having problem with split screen??? Playing on a 42inch. Split screen is super tiny... Only on BO3

Yea, I played all weekend on split-screen since I had buddies over... Those huge black bars on the side kill the view. Even on my 55" TV it's way too small to see anything at range.

was doing some research, apparently Treyarch wants to keep the game at a 4:3 aspect ration so it doesn't distort the quality of the game, which is why they have added the black bars

i literally had to sit 2 ft from my TV to even play

Walked in the house this weekend to seeing my little brother and his friend roughly 2feet in front of the tv, playing BO3... now I know why.

It's funny how you can go back to all the old games and not notice any distortion that would affect gameplay when you play split-screen. But apparently they decided the, "if it aint broke, break it" method is more their style.

its funny, so usually on Sundays its "zombie Day" for myself and a friend.
we play different call of duty Zombie modes all day and then end it with Walking Dead at night...

playing a few rounds of the new Black ops 3 on split screen and not getting any distortion and going back to older games. you can clearly see the distortion... and surprisingly... it doesnt bother me one bit

I guess I shouldn't say you can't notice it... but really it doesn't affect gameplay even a fraction of how not being able to see anything at range does.
