FT86Club window sticker
 

I know this has been covered before but all the posts seem to be out dated. is there a ft86club window sticker that I can get? if so where?

I believe they haven't been made in quite some time...

Unfortunately I wasn't around when they were made but would defiantely like to see them again.

Not sure but probably have to have @Hachiroku 's approval/permission to use the forum name or logo.

True True. Maybe if we got enough people to ask for permision @Hachiroku may give the approval on a specific one. Have people design their own take on what they believe it should be and have @Hachiroku vote on which one goes into production!

I got a FT86 club sticker when I went to 86 EXPO maybe they might have some left.

I wouldn't mind some small ones with the web address on them to give to people that I talk to. I know I have spoke to many that expressed a strong interest but probably forgot the site before they walked 10 feet away.

Definitely would buy one!

I was on the hunt for this forever -- found some old threads where the creator was not happy with how the stickers came out because the printing company could not quite get the coloring right...

If someone made these, I would absolutely buy a couple.

if @Hachiroku is cool with it and gives permission, i can cut these on my cutter. depending on the size, i can make and sell these for like $4 for everyone.

I Kinda like this one better just due to the fact that the silouette is very close to my NorCal 86 sticker.

Yup,me. I'm sitting in front of one as I type this. All I would need is a file to cut it.

Then again,I could just make my own in AI or CorelDraw.

Do you have a minimum? I'm not big on the "logo" type logos. I prefer the small "windshield banner" type, myself.

I want one that is "hot lava" with 1 car on it ;P

Me too. We should do ones to match all the different colors the FR-S comes in

A little too busy for my taste. Put the 86 back in the logo and get rid of the gt86/frs/BRZ part and I would like it better.
The silhouette one is nice but I would just want black and white or even better just white to go against my tinted windows.

I'd love a version of this in the typical white vinyl. Maybe in blue, but white would be pretty universal. Its a very clean, minimal design.

This is what our local organizer @HATED1 did. He got some business cards printed with the group name on it and where to find us online.

I think the cards for the forum is an awesome idea! I tell people about the forum and what's on here. Dunno if they ever visit lol

Then the newcomers can come on the forum, ask simple questions and get told "SEARCH!" "There's a sticky for that" "really? That question has been asked 9 dozen times already, search!":lol:

In addition: Follow classifieds rules or get your ass banned.

Just FYI, these were originally designed by a guy named JR, his forum name was 86_ZN6. He was a vendor on here and eventually got banned for taking people's money and not delivering on a bunch of products.

I do remember people asking to use that logo for other prints or on license plate frames but no vendors would do it because of 'intellectual property' since it was designed by JR himself.

Club Lexus, another forum I'm on, used to have a Club Lexus decal as well which borrowed the "L" logo from Lexus and eventually they had to stop selling it due to the design infringing on Lexus's design.

Just something to think about for whomever is thinking of printing of these, I'd hate for you to get in trouble for doing something with good intentions for our community.

In any case, I'd be in for 1 or 2, depending on what the design ends up being.

What about a competition?
People submit their designs, we have a vote of sorts, and if it ends up cool I'll have two.

Not sure that would work. Don't think the guys on here are all that competitive really.

Eh... I used to do freelance graphic design, what's the feel here though do people prefer an all text log or one with the silhouette of a twin?

If those blue red ones are made in white lettering with a clear background, I'm in. If done a gray color and clear background to match argento/steel/silver ignition, even better. I'd take two.

I personally love the old sticker, although i wasn't around then. Been lurking for about a year and would love one of those!

Truth be told,I don't own the plotter,it's the company that I work for that owns it,along with a ton of other goodies.

I might make another one and tinker with it a bit,but for the first one I've ever made,I was quite pleased.

I'd be in for something like a "traditional" japanese car club sticker. Not really feeling the silhouette.

1. Yes, you do prob need approval to sell forum sticker here
2. Yes, you do need to be vendor to sell forum sticker here
3. Yes, we did sell 86EXPO/FT86Club stickers at the event
4. No, I don't have anymore of those stickers
5. No, I'm not planning to making more... til next 86EXPO
