Merge the FRS and BRZ sections.
 

I propose to merge the FRS and BRZ specific sections, or at the very least create one merged photos section rather than having them split.

Thoughts?

yeah I don't really see the point in having two...a front bumper doesn't make the cars different

except the differences are more than just a front bumper. The suspensions are different. Heck they seem to have changed the suspensions on both cars nearly every year. But does anyone actually just keep to one section? Kind of silly and a pain in the ass, it is just easier to use the "find new posts" button and see everything.

but they are minute nonetheless. I agree though I just hit new posts every time I visit the forums.

Doesn't hurt to have the sections split and there are actually loads of people that don't even go between the two. Hell, there are people that never leave their regional sections.

I went for months before I even knew there was a BRZ section!
It was pretty peaceful there back then.

I'm all for merging. I never saw the need for two sections, especially given that the biggest difference between the cars is climate control, and even then, it's only a small segment of cars!

Why does it matter?

It's simple to do. In the top of the page right under your name you see "ALL" "Sicon FRS" "Subaru BRZ "

Click on "ALL" and you'll see all posts from both.

I can see both, that's not my point - the cars are the same so I don't see the point of segregating them, it's just extra clicks.

Didn't want to make a new thread for this but, when you go into BRZ mode there is a blue BRZ. FRS mode goes into a red FRS. When you press all, it only shows the FRS. This implies FRS is better, I'm offended and want the BRZ to join in the FRS when you have all. That way it's fair and you get both twins. :)

I agree I don't know why people even buy an frs... Why wouldn't you want push start and touch doors plus the back of the car says Subaru who doesn't like that? Also how confusing are frs drivers it's not a scion its not a Toyota it's maybe a Lexus? Keep that nonsense on the other side.

A merger would be better. The Subaru section is always lacking =p
Also sometimes certain questions or interesting topics get unnoticed if you only check one area over another.

Sadly, I don't think you can jump-start a manual BRZ with keyless. It's a shame--it saved me several times with my previous car.

Ya, was just a joke anyway (the traitor) but I never really thought about that. My last 4 cars were all push button start but none ever had the battery die. Would probably have ben baffled as as I went to attempt it.

The only FRS/BRZ split that makes sense are the two gallery sections.

i agree having 1 section for the same cars makes more sense.

Why change something that is not broken, and by some of the comments of BRZ owners in here it would be a good idea to keep them split.

So, did this ever happen, I do not see the FRS section anymore, just the BRZ.
