More blog posts added. Swapped out the audio gear, so the OEM bits (head unit, speakers, amp) are for sale.
OEM speakers and amp look like this, if you were curious... http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y24...RZspeakers.jpg --Dan Mach V |
Blog updated. Tried out a different set of wheels, switched to LED blinker bulbs.
--Dan Mach V |
Updated! Lowering springs, window tint.

Damn, I wish i could tint mine that low. 50% is minimum in Minnesota.
|
|
oh wow, the tint makes the whole car look much better! Also helps tie in those black wheels :)
Thanks, Rick |

To answer your question, yes, I installed a special blinker module that prevents super-fast blinking. It's sold with the kit. Which you can find at our web site. --Dan Mach V |
Hey Dan,
What % of tint is on your car? I have a SWP as well and that looks great. Thinking of things I can do, while waiting for my car :( |

SuperchAAAARRRRGE!
I haven't updated the blog in a bit, but we haven't been idle. The car now sports an Innovate supercharger setup, complete with custom Mach V Motorsports tuning.
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y24...d.jpg~original I love it! Great, instant low-end power. http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y24...a.jpg~original Now that we have boost, gotta have a boost gauge... :) More details at my blog. --Dan Mach V |

That is a sick looking boost gauge! I haven't shopped for one in years after getting an analog AEM.
Any thoughts on running e85 to keep cool since you're running without an intercooler? |

Nice man :)!

Haha that would be even cooler if it was here in Missouri

Just to clarify, an intercooler cools the intake charge, not the engine. I've had a few questions asking about overheating and whether the engine would "heat soak." The cooling system is adequate for street use; for road racing you'd want to get an oil cooler and/or a beefier radiator, but that's somewhat true even of the stock car. With proper tuning you can be perfectly safe and fine without an intercooler. It's just going to limit maximum power, since you cannot run as aggressive timing/fuel/boost settings as you could with a charge cooler of some sort. --Dan Mach V |

Although...I'd gladly install a supercharger on our car? lol

Did you sell the head unit already?
Pictures on the new amp installed? |

265 section width rears? What are you making 250hp or something crazy like that?
|
RKRs look so good on this car. Especially in that larger size. It's kind of a future-retro thing that some won't get, but to me it brings classic style that just fits perfectly with the design.

yeah 250hp would be ridiculous! (sarcasm) but I believe its making around 230 whp |
