Hi guys! Been drooling on here for a few weeks now, gathering info on wheel fitment, etc. Thanks! haha

I know in the US you guys call this the "Scion FR-S"... don't know what all that is about.... haha

But 2 days after the release of the TOYOTA 86 here in Australia, I picked up my new baby :).

The bulbs? They're just parker LEDs. They're just a bright white. Look great!!

I ended up not going for those wheels. They're Volk CE28N 18 x 7.5 +47 offset. They looked okay, but not the look i'm going for..

Btw, you don't need to worry about changing/upgrading your bulbs. You've already got HIDs! (Jealous!!! haha). The GT is a great car though. Couldn't be happier.

Those exhausts seem larger than the FRS. And those fog lights are to die for. Also the steering wheel is on the wrong side!:lol:

I'm going for black or gunmetal grey Work CR Kiwamis 18 x 8 +38 instead. They've got the look i'm going for..

As for the head unit, it's just a standard toyota head unit. They're found in most new corollas, yaris, etc. It's pretty good honestly. I can't really be bothered to replace it. It's got bluetooth, iphone connectivity, voice control, etc. Works well lol.

No.... The steering wheel is on the RIGHT side ;).... no pun intended haha.

You guys got the version with the LED strip headlights right? how do those work? are they DRL or do they come on at night with the low beam? If you could show a picture of them please!

No mine is the GT model, not the GT-S. I have the same headlights as the Scion FR-S. All I have done is upgrade the parkers to wedge type LEDs.

Dropped in some Phillips H11 Crystal Vision bulbs today. Huge improvement in both visibility and looks in my opinion!

Every other place in the world except North America, The BRZ/86 get those big ass nice tips. Only in America you get the pu$$y tips.

How did you go installing the new lights? easy access to change the bulb? was it just a bulb change?

There is SO much clearance in the engine bay to do work in there. I had no issues. This car was defiantly designed to modify/work on haha.

Looks great -- love to see what you Aussies start doing to these cars!

CarX in Clayton wrapped it. Looking around the $50 mark.

what kind of bulbs are in the DRL lights (the fog lights)?

I just realised this!!!! haha, I have to say Oz ones are much better.

And you know what, the diameter of the exhausts should be 86mm:D

They are

just standard bulbs man. i've just done a yellow overlay on the fogs/drls.

Also, which side are your seat adjustment controls on, left or right?

Someone suggested that right hand drive cars could order the drivers seat track from left hand drive cars to get adjustable passenger seat height base while left hand drive cars could order driver seat track from a right drive car to get adjustable passenger seat height base?
