Fap's official sim racing thread
Just ordered a thrustmaster vg tx 28GT along with project cars and an alienware alpha gaming computer.... seems expensive but its the cheapest track time you can buy.
I am going to see how long I can be a sim racer and still get laid. |
In for the win! LOL

Lol I feel this thread is going to get really good. I used to have a crap wheel for Grand turisomo.... too bad they dont make it for the PS4 yet :(
Edit: and I still got laid..... cuz I only used the wheel like twice. But it should be known I didnt let anyone in on my secret |
You can't let anyone know!
|
also ordered the vg tx leather 28 gt with vg th8a + playseat for forza 6 which arrived today, will update again once the wheel arrives.
|
Nothing can beat the alien
|
I've got a full sim setup, and still get laid without having to hide it. I'm sure you want to know my secret, so I'll help you out... Get some ButtKickers for your seat, then let her race a track with lots of rumble strips.:wub:

i banged my gf lastnight but she was still getting over her period so i dipped my cheesestick into the marinara sauce  |
I am disappointed to see there has been no mention of Assetto Corsa in this thread so far...
|
Does anyone feel that Sim racing improves their track days/racing/drifting at all to any degree ?
|
What do you feel is the most realistic driving game for pc/xbox??
|
Get the Obutto Ozone or R3volution. Best bang for the buck, and the seats feel almost exactly the same as the BRZ?FRS.
|
I have an office chair, a college student desk, a G27 and a 42" TV. Play iRacing, and a bit of Asseto Corsa, but much more into iRacing. I just run Asseto to drive the FRS :).
I find it has helped my driving. I' ve been sim racing since I'm 14. I hoped into a manual car and had no issues from the beginning. I also saved a few cars by having quicker reflexes and embedded instincts on what to do when the car gets out of control. I find it also makes me MUCH safer in the way that I get rid of my racing need and excitement in a computer sim rather then on the road. I don't care about racing the little Civic next to me, since I had a tooth and nail race against 20+ drivers from around the world on a circuit half way across the world. If you get really immersed in it, it will make you a better driver and racer as well. While it's not 100% true to life, the racecraft is all transferable. You don't have the physical part, but you will sweat after a long race just because your brain is working hard to keep focus and trying to figure how to keep them behind you and getting by the ones in front. |
