Post Your Wheel Setup (Canadian Version)

Hello fellow Canadians
I’m unsure if there already is a Canadian wheel thread or not, but for anyone who have mounted aftermarket wheels on your FT-86, we would love for you to share with us your wheel setup. Hopefully it can help future wheel buyers to get a better concept of what kind wheels they would purchase in terms of styling, brand size and price range. It can either be your winter or summer wheel setup.

You can also comment if there are any issues such as rubbing, noises, and any other concerns you are not sure of.

*If possible, if you guys attach pictures of your setup, that would greatly help this thread*

I will also be giving away a set of Work Wheels Lug nuts for FREE to one lucky wheel poster!

Feel free to PM for any questions about this thread or anything on wheels.
Thank You!

Yah I'll keep those pictures forever lol. It took forever to dial it in perfectly!

It's time to move on though... wide body is ordered :) I'll miss the RS05's as well, but I think I'm going to go Work CR2p with custom specs

Very nice! Do you or any others find any issues with the +35 offset?

Thanks! No issues so far except maybe a bad wheel bearing soon (reaching 50k and I travel dt toronto aka pothole central almost everyday so i'm not surprised)

I've read that some people without coilovers have had fitment issues with the stock struts

YangerD 09-23-2015 08:35 PM

Good thread! Would love to see more setups.

Same here. Enkei PF-01 17x8 +35.
Absolutely no problems, but then I'm also at stock ride height.

Thanks! They're not powdercoated; came in white from Enkei. Oakos Automotive ordered a batch in white. They're a vendor on this forum. Not sure who else carries white.

A few wheel manufacturers will every so often make custom wheel finishes, if the retailer orders more than 10 wheels in the exact same finish. In most cases during a group buy.

How many sets would it take to get custom sizes? :P

Would love for an rpf1 in 17x9.5

Custom sizes for a racing type wheel (rpf1) would be a little different. Work Wheels would be more likely to do that. Usually for a racing type wheel they would not customize the offset because they would need to make a new mold which costs them more.

I've seen 17x9.5 +38 rpf1 in 5x100 floating around south of th border. No idea if there are any left or what pricing is like. So it is possible.

Edit: found it.

people rounding up from a little under or down from a bit over could give a .5" or so difference

I think the biggest difference is the angle the pics were taken at
