Nitrous Update

Here is an update on my current nitrous build.
[ame]http://youtu.be/-oMDfmiWQ4k[/ame]

This wasnt my fastest run that, but its the one that I got recorded. I ran a 14 flat against the jeep and ran a 13.7 ealier that night.

mrk1 09-03-2015 05:04 PM

Pretty sweet

cdq85 09-03-2015 05:35 PM

do you have a build somewhere on the forum? curious as to what your current/future mods are...

stevo585 09-03-2015 09:14 PM

dallenj 09-04-2015 02:01 AM

Ok ill start a build thread. Itll be nice to look on here and see wherr my car came from

mrk1 09-04-2015 10:42 AM

is 13.7 your best time?

stevo585 09-04-2015 01:51 PM

Are you just running the stock tune? Not that you really need a tune as its wet just curious? Doing any kind logging with Torque or anything to check AFR?

I am using a stock tune right now because no will touch it because it has nitrous. I do look forward to uppung my shot to 75 or 100 after a tune.

I run a 75 shot pretty regular, handles just fine. A bit of a bigger kick in the butt.

FirestormFRS 09-06-2015 10:56 PM

A long long time ago there was a 100shot that blew up during tuning....long long ago.

Clutch slipped and he didn't have a rpm window to shut off the nitrous. Spray into the rev limiter is no good.

stevo585 09-07-2015 03:18 PM

Yes that window switch is key. I assume you all are running the NX plate system?

mrk1 09-07-2015 05:17 PM

NX plate is a nice piece.

I read in your build thread that NX said a single nozzle is better than a plate for small shots? Interesting...I assume "small" means less than 100?

dallenj 09-07-2015 06:01 PM

Yes im running the nx kit its a super clean install, and works great. It almost looks factory aside from the nx logos.

Have you gotten a tune on yours. If so is it by a local tuner or e tune. Just interested about what is going on with other markets.

Small means 35, and NX says a nozzle is better for that.

dallenj 09-07-2015 06:15 PM

Does anyone know the torque ratting of the factory clutch im not wanting to destroy mine before I can get a new one.

What 1/4 mile are you running with a 75 shot if you don't mind me asking

I can't see the time :iono:. Why did the nitrous stop? Just run out?

savaged 09-08-2015 01:37 PM

I don't have track time or dyno numbers. I use the NX Plate, NX Window Switch, NX Bottle Heater, and NX Remote Opener on two 10lb. bottles.

Yes there was too much air in the bottle and that was at the end of the day.

B T 09-09-2015 03:56 PM

Nice Launch. Are you using a progressive controller or flat out shot?
