TRD exhaust on BRZ

Thought i would find on search but could not. Posted ths also on FRS side.

Lookin at used BRZ but want to put on TRD sways and exhaust which I assume is done at Toy dealer. Since these are roughly the same cars i would assume no problem with warranty etc?

U agree? Btw- only want TRD stuff.

Tcoat 08-31-2015 11:24 AM

You are correct. If installed by a Toyota dealer you should have no issue with warranty as they should fall into the "authorized service" category.
Now, that doesn't mean you won't have an issue with Subaru if they decide to play games but at least you would have some good ammo in a fight.

And posting in one or the other sections should be plenty since many (most?) guys cross over anyway.

Tcoat-as always- thx!

Why do you need to search when you got Tcoat?

The ironic part is that in the last week I have been told by 4 people that I am a waste of time here, just a troll and never help anybody. They apparently have very good selective reading skills.

I love the sound of the TRD exhaust and after serving in the military in the pre PPE days, running straight side pipes on big block V8s and 40 years of Alice Cooper, Metallica and then Marylyn Manson, what drone?

JS + BRZ 09-01-2015 07:50 PM

TRD is a little too quiet for me. I went from Tsudo to Borla to trackpipe. It sounds perfect now!

It sounds much different from Berk trackpipe. Not obnoxiously loud at all. If my wife is okay with it, it's not too loud. Trust me.

Looks like this:

Must be a magic track pipe. Either that, or you're smoking a magic crack pipe.

ajaxthebetter 09-01-2015 10:14 PM

Sacrilege. No Toyota parts should ever touch a BRZ.

Guess he'll have to take the whole car back since the fuel injection is all Toyota.

Did you take your transmission off as well?

And the full fuel injection system?

this made my penis shrink

ajaxthebetter 09-01-2015 11:36 PM

Just did. Bench pressed the Aisin transmission for several reps to establish my masculinity for operating this primitive third pedal to my left and protuding lever to my right, and then mated it right back up to that piece of mechaniCal brilliance tucked into the bay.

Then I took a hit of gasoline from the D4-S and rode shiny and chrome into Valhalla, mocking my flat four as I did for owning a mere half of the pistons of namesake which rules the wasted world.

Mediocre, I yelled. Mediocre.

All anyone has to say is that the car would not be pretty if solely a Subaru vehicle.

It is a magic track pipe then. Sorry.

Not sure why I would lie about it. LOL What do I get?
