Here's mine. Driveway labs type 1 first batch of 3 he made. Had to modify it to fit the stock exhaust/nameless exhaust. Wish I hadn't as I now have the Q300 and it would have fit without modifying it. (cutting forward parts off).
My Driveway Labs side skirts are for sale but shipping is expensive so local pickup is preferred. Trying to raise money for a flex fuel kit. Attachment 116219 |

V3 from Driveway Labs. Bought it raw so I could anodize it instead of powder.

Not sure what the rest of the pics in this thread are about... |
Posting Pictures for Element Tuning because I love their set-up. I plan on making my own to sort of mimic theirs. Plan on using 6mm Dibond, and giving it a slight curve up at the end.

so many behinds

I'm a little surprised I haven't seen anyone cut out the spare wheel well, make the inside of the trunk floor flat, and take advantage of the extra space underneath the car.
I realize the OEM muffler is also there, but why haven't companies like Element cut out the wheel well, ditched the OEM muffler and use a longer and slightly steeper diffuser? |

is that diffuser with the additional diffuser cover that they sell which is extra or is that just the kit without the diff cover extra |

There are some basic aerodynamic rules you have to stick to unless you have the means to test your diffuser in a wind tunnel. You don't need to cut out the spare tire well because the angle would be all wrong since the diff and suspension arms are in the way.
The way we made ours does give us the correct angle and we're able to get the surface area we wanted by extending it past the bumper. Does it work well? Yes! The car definitely felt more planted with just that change. We have a bunch of short clips on Instagram from the Ultimate Track Car Challenge but I haven't uploaded a full video yet. |

Anybody have the Borla one?

It charvonia design diffuser. It require cutting the rear bumber. Keith Charvonia was team member of that scion challenge winning FRS. Sent from my 86 using Tapatalk |
hummm, after looking at Keith Charmonia build and seeing the roll bar mounted to the floor right behind the seat. I can only conclude that he is all show and no go. Mounting the cage at this location is a recipe for disaster in case of roll over the bar would perforate the floor and become useless...
see that image, and if you look closer you will see how the bar perforated the floor. http://i35.tinypic.com/2ppneae.jpg I don't think he can be trusted for anything else than his style. the car looks good though. |
