Fate - My FRS

So last week I drove 360 miles to trade in my beautiful 2011 STi (Destiny) for a FRS (Fate). Dealership gave me lots of $$$$ on top and the FRS! Ever since I don't regret trading in my STi.... It was stage 2 at 309hp 348tq. Was getting 250miles per tank and started having some problems. So she went and fate came.

Her first trip

Just ordered some PF01, BC BR FRS coiler overs, and waiting for nameless performance to finish their header back exhaust! Also have a LG 10in Sub and alpine 500w V-Power mono amp running 8gage to the stock Stereo. Lots more will come soon.... and lots of pictures... Nice to meet everyone!

I've been thinking of trading my 08 STi in on a FR-S but having reservations about missing the acceleration. Is that not an issue?

NickFRS 06-21-2012 12:06 PM

To be honest I don't miss my STi. Since I DD it the gas was killing me. Once you start throwing the FRS into corners you will forget about the STi's raw acceleration...

Thunderchicken 06-21-2012 12:35 PM

I can understand on the gas milage cause I get about 19.5

I TOTALLY botched taking some video of our drift session in the parking lot. Sorry man, I took a 0:01 video. I got this, though.

Gotta love a FRS at a camp sight!

NickFRS 09-20-2012 09:34 PM

Coils are sitting in my spare bedroom! Car will be lowered the first weekend of october! Can't wait!

NickFRS 11-21-2012 04:46 PM

Haven't had to time to update... car was rear ended two months ago... here is the album..
https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...5587588&type=3

good news is that the parts have arrived and the car should be done in 3ish weeks...

New stuff for the FRS is full Redline fluids for my trans and rear diff. Also Have a Nameless Performance cat back waiting to be installed once all the body work is done... and of course my BC BR coils have been sitting since the accident..... can't wait to get those on as well.

DarrenDriven 11-21-2012 05:31 PM

Ugh. It must be killing you to be without the car for so long!

NickFRS 11-26-2012 12:42 PM

It has indeed been killer.... Me and my fiance have been sharing the same car and i've been getting some rides to work from family members. Hasn't been the funnest 3 months but hopefully the car will be done soon. On the bright side we went out and bought my fiance a new 2013 Impreza on black friday! So the FRS can stay safe at home on icy/snow days.

NickFRS 12-09-2012 02:16 AM

Car is out of the body shop monday 14k in work later.

NickFRS 12-11-2012 02:58 AM

Update on the car. Recovered the car from the body shop today..... said it was finished but it obviously wasn't.

What I see they neglected.
-Steering wheel has pieces coming off, steering also feels really heavy still.
-My trunk button doesn't work.
-If I rev up to redline and shift to 2nd my tranny shakes violently.
-I have a bad winning noise from 5-redline
-If I pull up on my E-brake while moving it sounds like the rear end of my car just dumped into the ground. (when engaged)

They said the car was finished and when I received it the car would be in pre accident condition..... IT'S NOT EVEN CLOSE. Flustered and not happy since I have been out of a car for 3 months and now it's looking longer. I don't even know what else I have over looked. Needless to say i'm pissed. Also missing a pair of 80 buck snowboarding goggles that were in my car. WTF?

NickFRS 12-11-2012 09:19 PM

Car went back today but is going to gladstone toyota now to have all repairs finished!

NickFRS 12-12-2012 08:58 PM

Car is almost finished thanks to Fix Auto and Toyota of Gladstone. Fix stepped it up these past couple days and got their stuff done. I'd give them a 4/5 on body work but 3/5 on the overall job... Deff have to keep them on their toes but I wouldn't really recommend taking a a car there for big jobs.

NickFRS 12-21-2012 01:29 PM

Car is done and in my possession! Coils wheels/tires/exhaust is on! New exhaust coming from nameless soon. Has a straight pipe place holder on atm!

DarrenDriven 12-21-2012 01:36 PM

I don't believe you without photos. :)

NickFRS 12-22-2012 04:06 PM
