Anyone else own an RSX?

I own an RSX type-s. I just wondered if there were others on the board? Just trying to make convo until the FT is released lol.

stevens8 01-12-2011 08:03 PM

I've been drinking and feel like blabbing so here are my mods done to the RSX

Injen CAI
Strup Race header
HKS High power catback exhaust 2.36 in.
Hondata intake manifold gasket
Power rev racing throttle body spacer
Hondata #4 ECU reflash
a-spec suspension
a-spec spoiler
jdm type R shift knob

If I had to guestimate, I'd say it puts down about 200whp 145wtq

stevens8 01-14-2011 04:09 PM

I could have sworn there were a couple of other members on here that owned an RSX.....guess not

ichitaka05 01-14-2011 04:47 PM

There was one, but I think that member posted once and I haven't seen it since.

My friend has one (she drive base model). She haven't done much work on her RSX. She want to drop it lil bit and put A spec lip kit this summer.

stevens8 01-14-2011 05:56 PM

Cool cool. Yea i'm just tired of front wheel drive.

I'm sorry but without pics it is really hard to believe such stuff on the internets. And no, I'm not asking for pics. Just saying.

@stevens8
I've seen maybe the one RSX owner on here. Mostly we have Hachi-Roku, Supra, S2000. We have a Civic Si or two or three, I dunno. The one tC and the Ichitaka-mobile.

I've chatted with a guy on E85performance who had converted his RSX to E85 and boost. Last I know he was running 15lbs on 11:1 compression. And that's it.

Dragonitti 01-15-2011 08:28 AM

Speaking of E85, my boy just got a gas station near him that now has an E85 pump. I might be looking into doing an E85 tune now instead of 93oct.

I think, I have one of the girl's (which own RSX) pic, but idk about other girls photo, most of them don't like photo taken. I'll look and see if I have any.

Dimman 01-15-2011 05:51 PM

I think I already posted once here, about almost getting in an accident checking out a hot asian chick driving a super clean black AE86 last summer.

lol, I remember that story.

I wasn't asking because it's not polite. But I wouldn't mind seeing them :bellyroll:.

stevens8 01-18-2011 04:17 PM

Well I know there's a couple s2k owners on the board. I owned an 05 for a year then I had to sell it due to financial problems. Absolutely amazing car for the price. I'm hoping the FT86 is a little better with handling which would be hard to beat. I just love light weight cars.

CyberFormula 01-18-2011 05:11 PM

SUB-FT86 01-22-2011 07:58 AM

02 RSX base here

40flash 02-05-2011 11:21 AM

RSX

I have a 04 RSX-type S as my daily driver.
It's all stock because I have never been able to bring myself to put money into a FWD car. No matter what you spend or how much you do to it it is still a mediocre handling predominantly understeering FWD car. Not bad to drive but not as much fun as nearly anything that is RWD.
My other car is a project car. I have been in the middle of a 350Z engine and 6 spd swap into a 1995 240SX for a year and a half. RWD and 300 hp. 2800 lbs. Engine and trans are in. Suspension is done. Driveshaft and limited slip are in. 370Z seats are in. Currently working on the hand made stainless steel headers. Lots left to do. Wiring will be the biggest headache.

I've had guilty thoughts (because I'm a Toyota guy) about a VQ35DE in an S-chassis...

Start up a thread for Nissan owners if you want and throw some pics up!

Used to have an RSX-S, in many ways it's still my fav.

merlin2111 01-23-2012 07:50 PM

I drove an RSX S for 6 years and and in the process of selling it right now. It had hks exhaust, jic coilovers, strut bars, type r lower bar, swapped interior, custom cf headliner, volks 19', custom chargespeed lip kit and probably a lot of things I am forgetting. Great car but RWD called me and I don't think I will ever go back.

The grill is the charge speed insert also. It was black because I didnt want it to stand out.

If you notice the chargespeed lip kit has had the front holes filled in for a cleaner look.

MiguelAE86 01-23-2012 07:56 PM

Smooth!

This site reminds me of ClubRSX in many ways, perhaps slightly more mature and civilized. Raise your hand if you used to go onto ClubRSX daily. :party0030:

I swung by there for nostalgia's sake when I got an old GT... Used to be on there daily (helped me through boring work days)
