The aftermarket/diy is pretty small in hk. If you could afford a car, you would pay someone work on it.

Bedazzled emblems and those little anime figurines you see on so many cars in HK. Oh.. and beaded seat covers.

The last place on earth I would expect to find car enthusiast stuff is HK. The place is not car friendly.

More than where I am.

People always find ways, even when the city is not friendly for for that.

Straight up "Young and Dangerous" son! All the cool taxi drivers rock them. That and Buddha bobble heads. (also bedazzled, of course)

Am I alone in noticing that the WORST drivers always seem to have s#it dangling from their rear view mirror?

*Levl1 Shitty driver: center mirror dangly item.

*Levl2 Shitty driver: bumper plastered with ideological political propaganda.

*Levl3 Shitty driver: space saver installed-permanently.

*Levl4 Shitty driver: stuffed animals on back dash.

*Levl5 Shitty driver: driver's head is not visible-only their hands at 12oclock.

If all of these telltale signs are present, just get the hell out of their way.

To add to this list:
Any car with an extra antenna attached (come on people the CB craze ended in 1979). Although rare they are almost 100% guaranteed too have your whole list included.

Ha. I always try and avoid all those you mentioned. Lightning Rod styled antennas are a dead giveaway that you are behind someone who will only provide frustration.

Other things I watch for:

Vehicles with Les Schwab provided wheels--usually trucks or American SUV types

Lincolns

Jeeps

Mud tires on a road vehicle

Stickers with the stick figure family

Flower sticker on rear window

Stickers about dog breed (I love my dog, too)

Fire and Ice sticker with various percentages to show how metal this driver may be

Peeing Calvin sticker to show how rebellious a road warrior you are

Even good girls need spankings sticker--just once I want to see an ultra attractive girl with this sticker. More like a sadistic tease, these stickers.
