Swapped For a Charger
 

This morning I handed over the FRS keys and drove away in a slightly used 15 Charger SXT.
Could have had white or black but chose the black one.
Let me tell you, this thing commands respect on the highway. Whenever I pull out to pass everybody in front of me moves over and slows down and not one single car went past me on the highway (they all stayed about a 1/4 mile back).

Now I just have to find a good Mopar forum to hang out in.

That's because everyone thinks you're law enforcement lol.

I am sure the short hair, mustache and dark blue shirt didn't help change that thought even when I passed them and they saw me.

Didn't rent a car for vacation. Was in Vegas and if you think I was driving there you are nuts.

I rented one of the new Chargers for a company trip. Not a bad highway cruiser at all. My buddy owns one from before the refresh, 2012 I think.

I'm pretty sure we're still going to be seeing Mr. Flanders on this forum though.

Very true. I was going 80-85mph keeping up with traffic leaving Houston, and it was very smooth and quiet. It drove me nuts with how squishy felt around town, but that's the trade-off.

I can't even come up with anything mildly amusing for fear of this actually being true.

I dunno the lack of tire shine and no dealer plate frames looks to much like it just came out of a quick rental car clean up to go to the next customer,

Hey not a troll! Just can't stand the lack of power that those weak engines have anymore. Was looking for a nice Civic but they didn't have one. You fan boys just don't know a good car when you see one.

Actually yes some of us do. But not in the Charger it is just too nice.

Reality check, I can't troll about driving a grocery getter having flogged this through twisty, scenic back roads in NorCal the past few weeks. I thoroughly enjoyed being stealth while using the V-6 torque and surprising every sporty car encountered. Except while searching out back roads when I stumbled into a 20-mile dirt stretch connecting 93 to 49, designated for high-clearance vehicles only and got surprised looks from a couple of CJ trail blazers. The car managed it well but was prolly 20 lbs. heavier afterward from dirt crust.
